  • Let's all take a deep breath and rest assured that we're still committed to releasing 0.4 this month.

  • Just as a heads up, I can't think of much that makes me grumpier than having to hide 24 nonsense posts after working without sleep on 0.4.  Lack of sleep I can deal with; people being idiots not

  • I've been informed we'll have to delay release by one day for each cat that is killed.

I'm really looking forward to see how big of an update this will be on release and how much it's going to change and add things, the reworked AI and the ability to customize agencies that actually patrol their own jursidictions have got me hooked. Saves me from downloading extra mods.

You will then be happy to hear that we have reached an agreement with LS Customs to open up their shops for police officers so that you can modify your personal vehicle.

By 'personal vehicle', will you also be able to modify police vehicles at LS Customs (e.g. change extras, liveries, particularly paint for unmarked cars etc.)?

Yes, we will still ship it with RPH. You have a fair point though, that we should have updated the included RPH more often. I don't think removing it would help, in fact I think it would make things worse. Of course it would be nicer if people properly read the instructions on updating RPH before playing, but they do not, so we will have to deal with that. At least they get a somewhat helpful error that they need to update something. Removing it entirely could result in many people asking how to start the mod in the first place.

Perhaps instead of bundling a certain version, the auto-installer could fetch the current version and install that?

Spoiler

Is there new callouts added?

I am Lance Corporal of the Los Santo's Sheriff Department which I am usually sent to patrol Paleto Bay and Sandy Shore's. I was promoted from Park Ranger a year ago for arresting a possible terrorist threat thank's to a stranger but I didn't note it   (funny joke from a Arrest Event) So know I dealt with Bank Robbery's and Police Shootouts but usually the Hospital brings everyone back to life 😉😉 so lets Obey and Survive.

First of all thanks a bunch for this mod, and second I just hope the overlapping mods and keys will be sorted out as this is the only thing atm that's breaking immersion.

Having two menu's pop up as I approach a suspect or pressing a key. All the best and thanks again for this cool mod.

Great news and awesome work Team. Couple questions...

1.) Will I be able to continue using 0.3 even after the release? And the scripts and plugins that work with it? I am already VERY satisfied and extremely overwhelmed with the current setup I have going for 0.3 and the additions to this incredible mod as it is (will absolutely check out 0.4 at some point. It sounds amazing.)

2.) Will Vocal Dispatch be obsolete with 0.4? And if so, I will be absolutely crushed. To have eliminated all but a couple key strokes and to be possibly going back to a full keyboard of keystrokes or more will be very inefficient and bring down the simulated and immersion factor a lot. Just keying up the mic (Bluetooth mic, single around the ear unit) to ask for additional, fire/ems, pit request etc was a huge relief from all the key strokes and memorizing of and brought new life to this "game".

Other than that, congrats on your work and I can't wait for the release and your future work with this all.

Wannabe Officer In Training With LSPDFR!

I don't imagine anything would prevent you from playing LSPDFR 0.3 once LSPDFR 0.4 is released. That said, it is equally likely that a majority of the plugins you have installed (along with LSPDFR and G17 Media, who probably won't ever update 0.3 again) and may not release updates compatible with 0.3 down the line. These developers may also not support these legacy versions.

Phenominal. You makers of LSPDFR and yes even the modders of different callouts, police cars, etc is the ONLY REASON I still play GtaV. If not for yall, I would have sold the game long ago. Very interested in what 0.4 has in store, excited, almost as if a new game is coming out lol. Appreciate the hard work that went/will go into the brand new LSPDFR. We gamers appreciate it a GREAT DEAL if it has not been expressed by other people who may not have the time to express such gratitude. 🙌 🍺.

@Sam perhaps this is an unusual question, but will this require all the dlcpacks? I like to modify my dlclist.xml and take out the dlc packs after patchday13ng so they don’t load. This allows me to still use EUP while trimming the memory usage down a bit on the game. I find that my gameplay is smoother with all the vehicle mods I have and such when I do this. Will this update require the full dlclist? Thanks!
