  1. @Sam perhaps this is an unusual question, but will this require all the dlcpacks? I like to modify my dlclist.xml and take out the dlc packs after patchday13ng so they don’t load. This allows me to still use EUP while trimming the memory usage down a bit on the game. I find that my gameplay is smoother with all the vehicle mods I have and such when I do this. Will this update require the full dlclist? Thanks!
  2. God, everything about this update sounds completely awesome!! Thanks sooo much for all the hard work you guys put into it! I can’t wait to try it out.
  3. Wow, I took a big break and have just come back, and I just saw that you’re taking your leave. Thank you so much for all of your mods and hard work! I bought a PC just for lspdfr, and I cannot imagine my enjoyment being what it was without your mods. You truly brought life to lspdfr and made it so much more realistic and easy to use. I will miss seeing your creations, but I wish you only the best as you go forward. Take care!!
  4. @POLICESCOI realize you released this a while ago, but I was wondering if you could activate livery support for this vehilce? It is one of my favorite slicktops, and I would love to be able to use it in one of my departments. Thanks!
  5. Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I do not know how to code or use C+, but if you need me to just check it out and get back to you, I can do that. If it's really simple to code in the calculations, I am totally willing to give it a go, but you will probably need to walk me through at least some of it. I am very familiar with modding (textures and text files), I'm just not familiar with coding. Thanks!
  6. Ok, so it sounds like there's no way to run this inside the game, and I'll have to alt-tab out in order to do paperwork, or play in windowed mode? Do you have any plans to integrate this application into the game in some form or fashion, like computer plus? I love everything you've done with this mod, but due to performance issues in window mode, I have to play in full screen. And alt-tabbing out every time I want to do paperwork after a callout, arrest, etc., can get frustrating after a little while.
  7. @SgtFluffy Ok, so this looks really awesome, but I'm feeling a bit lost after downloading the file. I see from earlier comments that you don't install this in plugins or anything, right? I'm having a hard time figuring out how to use this while in the game? Do I have to alt tab every time I want to make a new report? Thanks!
  8. I'm sorry that it's been frustrating for you :(. Are you new to LSPDFR? At the moment, a new GTA5 update came out so a lot of the mods probably need to be updated to work with the new update. I'm not sure because I'm using a backup of the last version of GTA5, and I'm just playing offline at the moment. If you are new to LSPDFR and you would like a list of mods that I know are really reliable (again, not sure if they all work right now with the brand new update), I would be happy to give you that list. I will say that once you get everything working it's pretty awesome. Please let me know if you would like that list. Modding gta5 is certainly a daunting task for newcomers, and it doesn't help that they keep pumping out updates all the time.
  9. Hi There, I just wanted to let you know that it is doing this again tonight. I had issues with this last night, but I was able to download things fine today. But now it is doing it again tonight. The download starts, but then I get a message "Failed - File Incomplete".
  10. Yea, I've done that and it didn't work; perhaps I edited it wrong. Have you done that with his unmarked vehicles specifically? If I can get it to work that would be awesome, but I don't think his unmarked vehicles support liveries. Please let me know if I'm wrong about that. Thanks!
  11. @PieRGud This mod is fantastic! I haven't looked at this mod in a while, but I just checked it out again and all the new features are amazing. Can I ask one thing though? Is there any way to make this mod work with 4k resolution? The menu is incredibly small when I'm playing in 4k and the arrest and traffic violation menu is a little wonky, with text nowhere near the boxes I'm suppose to put them in. If you can provide support for 4k resolution, I would be absolutely grateful! Thanks!
  12. Ok, cool! I really hope it's an easy fix, as it ruins the immersion a bit, but it's one of my favorite cars. Thanks for looking into it.
  13. @BradMI just thought you might want to know that headrests on the back seats to the impala are see-through from the back. I didn't notice it at first, but now that I do, it's pretty distracting . That is all. Wonderful pack though.
  14. @goigle Hi there, Any chance of releasing that update that fixes the drug dealer crash? This mod is unique and I especially like the repair option. I would love to see this mod keep on living. Thanks for all your work!
  15. @Albo1125 Thanks for all that you do! You have some of the best mods. I would only like to request, if it's possible, that code 2 and 3 calls be tied into the LSPDFR backup if we don't have custom backup installed. I don't use custom backup because it eats away at my performance, and I really miss the backup button on the radio. I miss having backup at traffic stops as well. That was a nice little feature on the last radio mod. And as others have said, I really miss the option to call K-9. I didn't use it all that often, but it helped give a sense of realism when I needed it. Thanks!
Another wonderfully simple mod that adds a ton to the game. Thank you! It's quick, responsive, and just plain cool. My only wish is that I could set the distance for the helicopter to spawn. To me, I would like to further that distance by a bit to make it just a little more realistic. On traffic stops where I request a polmav, it's a little off-putting to have one show up within a couple seconds of the request.
I think this is a fantastic little mod. It's a little different take on the idea of cruise control, in that it actually caps your speed rather than locks it in. I think it would be really nice to have a toggleable option to lock the speed in too so that I can take my finger off the accelerator. I also think it would be really nice to have the ability to move the notification bar away from the top left, or to have an option of removing it altogether. It's nice at first to get an idea that it's working and what speed I'm going, but I don't like it staying up there the whole time cruise control is on. All in all, this is a fantastic little mod. There's nothing exactly like it. Really nice work!
  16. @thegreathah I thought you might want to know that the takedowns on the FPIS emit towards the rear of the vehicle, instead of the front. That's the only vehicle I checked out, so I'm not sure if it does it for any of the other ones.
  17. This is a nice car, but I've noticed that the rear top lights have no emitters. The texture shows up, but it isn't bright at all. Any chance of fixing that? Also, just a request, but is it possible to add takedowns in lieu of not having any spotlight (which is nice).
  18. I really like the car. The only things I noticed that would be really nice to have changed are that the moon-roof looks funny. The angles aren't quite right and so the reflection looks like the glass is bent towards the front. Also, is there a chance of having the windows break? This car works really well with my department set-up and it would be awesome to have these things added. Thanks! Edit: Also, after playing with it for a little while, I noticed that there are two little tiny black things jutting out of the top of the roof, towards the rear of the vehicle. Lastly, is there a chance of putting some takedowns in the car? I love the no antenna's or spotlights, but it would be nice to have takedowns to compensate. Thanks again!
  19. Once upon a time I swear there were carvariation numbers provided to make it look like the grey in the pictures. Do you happen to have those 4 numbers as I'm trying to recreate that color? Thanks!
  20. Currently I am making several edits to the EUP pack. However, every single time that I go to replace one of the files with an edited texture of my own, the texture quality loss is substantial, and there is a noticeable purplish hue on all of my clothing. I was wondering if there is a way to import edited clothing textures without this loss in quality? It seems to happen with every ped texture, even accessories like holsters or belts.
  21. Oh, gotcha. That's cool! Thanks again for looking into those things. I hope you're able to figure them out. I did forget to mention that I noticed the rear lightbar floats in the car. It's not that big of a deal to me because I don't open the trunk of my vehicles much, but I noticed it as I was checking out every nook and cranny of the slicktop. Also, having working dials would be great too, if possible, but again, not a big deal to me because I don't use FP that much, but I know a lot of people do. I'm not sure how hard any of that is, and I wish you the best!
  22. @ThePatrioticGamer Ok, I just got back from taking the slicktop for a spin. I stick by the handling being spot on. It's great! I wouldn't be opposed to a couple more lights on the front, maybe in the grill, but it still definitely works fine as is. I would say a push bar would look good, and maybe one or two small antennas on the top. But those are all just eye candy. The only other noticeable cosmetic issues other than the rear blinkers is that the glass on the front is more or less see through , and there are some small gaps in the seams of the vehicle that allow me to see all the way through. The most noticable gap is between the driver side door and the frame. I can adjust the window myself using photoshop, and the gaps aren't horrible, but I thought I'd mention it. I myself don't really know how to make cars yet, although I'd love to start, so I say all this respectfully. I know how much work it takes to make these vehicles, so thanks for all the work! Oh, lastly, I know that it's not the easiest thing to do, and even the more experienced modders don't always do it, but breakable glass would be awesome :)! And reading some of the other comments, I hope you are able to find someone to teach you how to do the takedowns.
  23. You're welcome! Constructive criticism can be helpful, but the way they said what they said was completely unnecessary and rude. I'm glad that you will keep going and want to improve your work. I think you are off to a fine start. Better than anything I can make, atm :). I appreciate you looking into the blinkers. I think I'll take it out for a spin again and check to make sure there is nothing else I missed.
