The following is what I have installed and about 5 minutes ago just got done testing Vocal Dispatch. The only thing I don't have installed is Arrest Manager as I believe you don't need that when using Stop The Ped. Hence the ???? Everything, including 0.4.3 obviously, is working just fine. I'm sorry you are having issues. I know how depressing it can be to not be able to enjoy playing with this mod. But I'm telling you it has to be on your end buddy. I have also tested Visual V which works fine and I am going to install some more things either tonight or tomorrow. Including ELS. The fact that you don't know what a mod folder is and the ???? behind all your comments in your post leads me to believe you haven't any idea what you are doing or what all this means. #1 You are using the steam version. I believe it's more difficult to work with the steam version. #2 IF you have installed ANYTHING else that may have edited the x64 or update folder in your main GTAV folder then you may have a problem. Bottom line is, this recent release is fine. You may have to uninstall the WHOLE game, redownload, reinstall it and start fresh. There is nothing wrong with any of the required files. Such as 0.4.3, Rage or ScriptHookV. For reference to help with installing this whole mod, including folders, OpenIV etc go here and click on tutorials.... https://acepilot2k7.com/

I hope this doesn't get deleted but can someone, anyone confirm what happened to these scripts?? Did he take them down for good? Was it just to update them "behind the scenes"? Please any hint would be great.

I just did a fresh install with the current version (0.4.3) and it works perfectly. I install quite a few things to make my experience as realistic as possible and I know it takes a few moments to reinstall everything but honestly it's not that bad. You all need to make sure to DELETE EVERYTHING! Mods folder, plugins folder etc. Start FRESH! Even your saved games! I mean even files you are unsure of as the updater/installer will reinstall files that were mistakenly deleted. Just don't delete the GTAV.exe obviously. There is nothing wrong with this release. I have 0.4.3, the new ScriptHook and Rage and I just made two flawless arrests without any crash or hang ups of LSPDFR.

My $0.02 and not that it's worth anything... I used to be apart of another incredible modding community. It was for a racing simulation called NASCAR Racing 2003 Season. The ABSOLUTE BEST there was and actually in many ways still is. Anyway, my thoughts are I can see both sides of the argument here. With not referring to what another mod had said about the situation, I don't see how the creators and website owners of LSPDFR can make it any clearer. The only thing that can be done is hopefully get the host of the ripped content to delete it from their websites. On the other I can completely understand the feeling of having hours of work taken just to get credit for it. I used to paint cars for NR2003 and I got quite decent at it. Even had some requests by people to make paint schemes. Luckily none of my stuff had ever been ripped, shared or what have you. One main thing all you "modders", model creators etc have to keep in mind and correct me if I'm wrong... you all do NOT have rights to be making and posting models of real manufactured cars and using the name of said cars as well. Not to mention other things as well that are made for LSPDFR. I'm quite certain that if Ford, Dodge, Chevy etc got wind of this website and the content the party would come to a halt. So honestly those complaining about creating content are hypocritical. You were never given permission to use the actual design and name of said manufactures cars. No you're not doing it for profit but you are claiming that it's "YOUR" work. And honestly, it's not. Just like we all did with the mods, cars, paint scheme of NR2003.... make them and share because you want to and enjoy seeing the happiness of others using your content. If not, don't and stop whining about it.

Yes, thanks and NP. Honestly I believe 100% of all plugins, scripts and visuals that I was using with 0.3 and that have been updated are working with 0.4 now. So that is AWESOME! And thanks for the replies.

Ok first off I'm sure many seen my extremely undeserved rant in the official discussion thread. I'm sorry but I became extremely overwhelmed with the incredible amount of changes and the possibility of losing out on such an amazing setup that I had with 0.3. I then reacted and let out an unwarranted rant. And for that I'm sorry. After taking a deep breath and seeing that most if not all the plugins and scripts were updated I installed it correctly and gave it a go! I just wanted to make a quick thread stating the above AND what I just experienced with LSPDFR 0.4. No plugins, enhancements or anything. To start off I want to talk about the callouts included, specifically the robbery in progress and everything that happened while taking the call.... I can absolutely tell a difference with LSPDFR now compared to 0.3. It has this certain fluidity with it and it feels "action packed". When taking the robbery callout you just feel this urgency to get there. You arrive on scene, but wait, the red blip goes away and this black X shows up. What is that? It's the place the suspect was last seen after fleeing from the scene. AWESOME TOUCH!! So as I patrol the alleys and main roads I come across this gentleman running away from the scene of the crime. He seemed very suspicious, he had on the typical "thuggish" trouble making attire and thus I felt I should apprehend him to question him and to sort things out just incase. As I get him to the ground and cuff him, stand him up to do a search to make sure he doesn't have any weapons or anything illegal I get a pop up stating "suspects still on the loose 1". Needless to say I apologized the young man and explained the situation. For him to be running from the area of the crime that took place it seemed EXTREMELY suspicious and I needed to be sure for the safety of the people of Los Santos and he himself as he was an innocent bystander in all of this. Unfortunately the suspect, is still at large. And this was all in the first 10 minutes of playing this. I love the fact that you actually have to do some police work to find the suspects now as the blip goes away if you don't get there in time. I'm 50/50 on the quick map zoom as you get near the suspect that may still be in the area but it's a neat touch. Long read and I'm sorry but I just wanted to say I'm on board and look forward to much more enjoyment of this amazing mod so far!

Loot, I am sorry. I became very overwhelmed with a whole new setup with 0.4 and let my emotions cloud my judgment. I have deleted my post above as I have officially tried 0.4 tonight. Clean install, no plugins or anything and it was actually amazing. Going to make a thread about my experience just now and my thoughts about the quick map zoom when you get near the suspect, the black x that shows up etc. Again sorry and if you don't mind deleting my quotes above I would appreciate it.

Thanks all but I have decided to give 0.4 a go, especially since everything has been updated (plugins etc). Matter of fact, since this thread that line above was not showing anymore for some reason. But it doesn't matter as I have moved on to 0.4 like everyone else. Thanks again. :)

I assume this line here where it reads failed to reach server is because 0.3 is not supported any longer correct? This is a 100% fresh install and fully aware of how to work with everything. An answer by the team or someone very knowledgeable would be great thanks! Please answer and then lock and move this to the 0.3 support forum. I can't ask about this in that forum because it's read only now.

I seriously hope people are not just installing this without doing a fresh install of everything.

WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL! Ok so here is what the cause was. I have the 2017 c++ redistributable packs in but you have to have the 2013 in as well!! JESUS what a headache! You would figure that them being updated and newer versions that it would be covered but no, you have to have the 2013 version in!! Scripts folder is back in action!

Nope I have the latest V.Dot and the latest RPH/Scripthook V. I just did a fresh install and installed all my usual plugins. The only thing new is Stop The Ped and Ultimate Backup. I am at a total loss here lol.

Darn it! Ok thanks! Must be a conflict with a plugin or something not allowing it to show up. I do have it and the ini in my scripts folder but it won't show up. I've changed the keys to use, reinstalled the files incase they were corrupt, etc. It usually shows up right away without having to press power. Bummed the freak out right now lol!

To Alaura, My post in whole was not directed at you. I said no thanks to "beta testers" which meant you as you mentioned getting a "copy" of the new update to test with. The latter of my post was a general blanket statement to how quite a few are acting within this thread. Male or female. Yes this mod is amazing (could be a stand alone if the creators of GTA V knew what was go for them). Just that many need to cool their jets. That's all.
