Sounds Awesome and I and many others cannot wait!!, One question I have Is there going to be performance fixes? Will we see higher FPS when running this mod.

will this LSPDFR 0.4 break many lspdfr plugins / plugins and scripts and mods so on and old mods MUST be Updated or remade for this version ??

It's been touched upon a few posts above and by Sam before.

i only saw this.  Quote   "You will need to be running the latest version of GTA V.  We recommend a fresh install/clean copy, but it shouldn't be strictly necessary. "

The answer is that it's just not possible to test every single combo of modifications out there. LSPDFR is tested with a clean install without any other mods. You'll see what works and doesn't work for you on release day. It should work, but there are no guarantees. Is that clearer? 🙂

i suppose, i guess it just depends if RPH is compatible with the new versions of GTA and vice versa

That's not an issue, as the RPH devs will update as needed.  The issue, as been said, is the individual LSPDFR plugins. and whether or or not they will need to be updated.  Though, speaking from experience, the older and outdated plugins are more prone to breaking just because they haven't been touche din ages.

im just hoping that the plugins i have now that currently work still will eg:vocal dispatch. cant reach him though

Hell Yes I cant wait, i been having issues  with this lspdfr for too long it will be nice to see a mod that supports itself so we dont have to use  other modders  and wonder whats gonna crash. Thanks to all of you.

Hello LSPDFR team and community 🙂

I am totally excited about 0.4. I had taken a long break from GTAV and LSPDFR as i was playing it over a year ago. since then its come along leaps and bounds and i am inspired by so many great LSPDFR streamers too. 

I just wished to raise my thoughts and i guess slight concerns. 

I am hoping and i am sure they are that most if not all of the active mod /plugin creators will be keen to update their mods to match 0.4.

Also will the new 0.4 version of LSPDFR actually absorb and now have the abilities of many of the plugins and mods? Will there be new menu's, options that actually do what some of the plugins have had to do before and therefore reduce the amount of plugins we need? For example i get conflict messages recently when i boot my game up and Forceduty on one test run of 0.3 with mods that 'Arrest manager' and 'Stop The Ped' basically conduct the same functions and almost fight for priority in certain in-game actions. It therefore caused me to consider if i even needed both anymore and which of them is the least updated and efficient.

 

So will 0.4 maybe be replace or providing the functions they both do for example and therefore removing a need for either of those? ( as an example).

I know from heavily modding many other games i play, that finding mods/plugins that can duplicate and perform functions that several others do and therefore reducing my mod load is a blessing for performance and stability.

 

My hope is that with 0.4 many of the mods/plugins needed or desired for 0.3 may not be so needed. One example again is EUP. If 0.4 creates a character edit where i can design and create my own custom Officer, i wont need EUP installed.

I wonder how many other mods/plugins might not be needed now or in future updates 🙂

Is it possible to add the animation where the AI passenger cops have flashlights and shine them around the car like a spotlight but for the player to do? I know there is a spotlight plugin but the flashlight animation looks cool and I know you are adding a better flashlight to 0.4 so wondered if this was possible since that addition.
