Set the date on your PC back 1 day until it stops demanding you reauthorize.

I'll give that a try when time comes (it will). So far, I just downloaded something, but don't see an update.

Rockstar's DRM is pretty amateur, and I've had a few people confirm the old date trick works.

That's odd, my game updated and I can still play LSPDFR with mods, cars, etc. and Ragehook works fine. (I have the retail version btw)

As I said, if I'm not wrong, RagePluginHook v0.21 and newer don't necessarily require an update for smaller updates to be able to play.

How do I go about running a previous version of GTA V?  If a game update breaks my mods?

I think I heard something about backing up GTA V and GTA V Launcher then just update the game and drag the old ones in to play on the older version am I right?

If you are using steam, set the automatic updates setting to "Only update the game when i launch it". Then if you start steam and you see "update required" next to GTA V, then just start steam in offline mode and launch ragehook. Steam will give you two options, to update the game, or to launch it without updating. That's how i did it. I saw there's an update and using this method, i can launch the game without it updating to the newest version.

Mine updated last night, and haven't had a problem with mods and what not. That being said, i have been testing out screen recorders and i do notice a little performance drop (this could be due to the recorder itself) when i'm not recording. 

But modding related, there shouldn't be a problem. RPH,LSPDFR,Callouts,Vehicles and everything else should work fine. it was a 50mb patch so i doubt it changed anything, it was most likely related to their maintenance they a night or 2 ago.

Hmmm, did they really only touch the launcher?

I installed a custom skin for the sheriff deputies, but they are not using it anymore. It is installed in the correct path and it shows correctly when previewing in OpenIV but ingame it doesn't. However ingame, the bulletproof vests do read 'sheriff' instead of 'police'. I'm really confused here. 

As far as I can see, nothing in the GTAV directory other than GTAVLauncher.exe was modified when I updated.

Is anyone else unable to get into the game now? It keeps saying the Social Club launcher is out of date, and when I try to install the patch it tells me GTA V isn't installed.

Yerp, same here, low performance and constant out of memory crashes (which I never had before this update). I'm rolling back to the previous launcher now...

Damn.Reminds me of the very first version of GTA V. Sometimes the game began to sutter and crashed all of the sudden.

I guess if those issues occure for most users, R* will propably release a "patch for the patch".

I'll keep blocking gta v in the firewall to prevent any unexpected updates to be installed.
