I nearly choked to death. I was eating a snack when I saw the tweet. This is great news. Any new immersion and fixes are welcomed. I'm going to look so bad*ss.

Hopefully, the modding community can have a smooth transition.

In the sirensetting for the car you are editing, at the top of its section is a headlightflasher and taillight flasher option, it needs a sequence just like the sirens do

I tested the multiple lights but I think it was just a glitch.  I am sorry. Was to exited with reporting before testing.  If you have for example 2 siren1 dummies.  The game only uses one of the 2. If we just can select which dummy. Then you can use it in rph. One as direction bar and one as siren lights.

I've made a carcols a while back that just seems to work really well on pretty much any car you throw it on. Here's a demo of it on my Kansas cars, no edits were done to the cars.
If anyone is interested I may release it.

I'll give these a try. Thanks. Sirens aren't numbered, so you to be very mindful when editing. Notepad++ helps.

    @Ranger61
Here is the easiest way that I found to do the flash patterns. Open up notepad, and start your flash pattern using 1 as on and 0 as off....
Example of a quad flash would be like this: 1010101.
now you want to have a break in there before it flashes again....so you would use 0s so give it that break...the more 0s you have the longer the break will be.
    Example would be like this:
    10101010001010101000
You take that binary number and plug it into a decimal converter and you get:
    697000
That is the number you want to plug into the sequence value.
Now say for example you have a light bar that you want to flash quads opposite of each other....this is where it gets more complicated.....Take your binary that you made and in notepad paste it in a new line. Then underneath you are going to make a mirror of that binary code like so:
    10101010001010101000
    00010101010001010101
Important is to make sure both have the same amount of numbers. Pop those into your converter and you get
    697000
    87125
So one siren is going to have 697000 as the sequence value and the another siren is going to have 87125. Now the easiest way I have found to figure out which siren you need to adjust is by going into OPENIV and viewing the model, then hiding everything but the sirens. What I have done in my carcols is to space out the siren entries to make it easier to see which siren is which and for counting.
    Hope this helps!

This is a custom sirensetting I came up with for Black Jesus' BCSO FPIU. This is just a test for those who might be interested in seeing what everyone is talking about. Props to @thegreathah for his custom carols.ymt, which I used as a base, @flwpheonix for providing the pattern code (I still don't understand it), and of course @BlackJesus for the model.
    Installation
    1. OpenIV and navigate to update > update.rph > x64 > data and backup carols.ymt somewhere on your computer.
    2. Open carols.ymt with Notepad++ and scroll down to Sirens <id value "1">. You can use search and find police/sheriff
    3. Click and create a space just above (by hitting enter)
        <Item>
          <id value="1"/> or above another <id value>
    4. Copy & Paste the custom sirensetting below in space created
    5. Save.
    6. Drag saved carols.ymt into update > update.rph > x64 > data using OpenIV
    7. Go to the carvariation file used for Black Jesus' FPIU and change the Sirensetting to "18"
    8. Load Game and spawn car. You should note a change in pattern and speed, which is more realistic IMHO

@flwpheonix, I meant the sirens aren't numbered in the carols.ymt file. You have to carrying edit the ones you want. I used your patterns on at @LVMPDFAN 2016 Nevada Charger in a custom sirensetting (id 17) and it came out very nice.

I don't have these numbered as I can use them anywhere.  The top value is for one side and the bottom for the other....Currently using the quad flash on Bugs' slicktop Vic.

Use OpenIV. That model is pretty complex, but you can toggle the sirens using OpenIV to figure out which is which.
EDIT: So 65535 is definitely too big.

    Trying  32767...

EDIT EDIT: So, the limit on the max sirensettings values is very strange. It's somewhere between 10000 and 32767.
So anything less than 10000 should work without problems.

I have retail and updated because I was bored and just wanted to get it out of the way. I think updating is inevitable, but you do have options for when. I usually wait until my favorite plugins are updated to the new RPH with added features. This is usually days after Rockstar updates.
I also back up my current directories before updating, just in case I have issues, and need to stick with the current version.

I think the main problem about a peaceful thing is the President is a borderline dictator, he basically seized control of the largest newspaper thus allowing him to control what is said about him. The President is basically asking citizens to breach the curfew and make life hell against the coupe, clutching at straws if you like.

Ranger61 got a reaction from Riley24 in Dallas Officers Fired Upon at a BLM Protest (Updated 12:57 AM EST)
Actually, it looks like the Baltimore unrest after the Freddie Gray incident. Not to defend it, (I thoroughly enjoyed the mom putting the beating one kid out there) the unrest stemmed in part from a poor relationship between police and the community they served. Baltimore ended up settling with Freddie Gray's family. The taxpayers paid out more than $5 million dollars. This is on top the $5 million it had already paid over the past several years for something like 100 incidents of excessive force.
Going back further toward the beginning of the BlackLivesMatter social media thing, the Justice Department released a rather damning report against the Ferguson Police Department. Despite the fact, that the shooting that initiated the investigation was determined to be justified.
There are legitimate grievances behind these protests. Police departments that are not prepared, particularly in a post-Ferguson era, place a lot of lives.
This is not to defend the rhetoric. Perhaps I've grown tone-deaf in what has become a very toxic political and social environment, but I don't think many of the people protesting wanted what happened. If we are going to throw blame, I'm sure we can pretty much throw a stick at whatever direction we like, and justifiably smack someone.
Did the BlackLivesMatter (looking at those that popped off at mouth) and the majority of those protesting want this ? Did those who believe in the Right to bear arms want this? Did the two political parties that have our nation divided want this?
I think the resounding answer is no. I believe the only one that really wanted this is Micah Xavier Johnson. We as a society is still here to correct our errors if we choose to.

I might have grown someone tone-deaf as result of years of listening and watching (and yes participating) in our toxic political and social environment, but I think you have to look beyond what people are saying to decipher what they mean. And I don't see the riots. There have been few incidents of violence, no matter the noise chatter. People are not celebrating in the streets. We haven't seen more violence.
I think police are apt at distinguishing between frustrated and misguided free speech, and violent intent. That's one reason all hell hasn't broken loose. We have certainly seen improvements in a number of local police departments around the country. Speaking for my own area, there is better training, and openness between both sides. I also think the shooting took America, and the protestors to the dark side, an extreme that many at least in the media are speaking out against, and more importantly having to address, not pretend its unthinkable.
Will realize rational national conversation? I have less confidence there. There are just too many opportunities, and our political and social system, is so toxic, I fear we are paralyzed.

The shooting and the DoJ investigation of FPD were two separate investigations. The shooting brought the spotlight on FPD but the investigation of the department as a whole was not the same as the investigation of the shooting. The shooting (one particular incident) was justified however as a whole the department was messing up pretty bad. Overall I agree with the results of both investigations. I agree that the shooting was justified and I am happy that FPD got called out on the injustices going on in Ferguson so that they can be addressed.
