I'm one of those guys who doesn't see the point in modifying cars. Why not save your money and buy a better car rather than make yours look worse?

I guess the culture between the UK and the US is different though, the majority of "modded" cars here are done by people with less than 3 brain cells. So you end up with this shit:

I'd much prefer to just buy a nicer looking car.

Trust me, it looks like shit in the US too. A good portion of Americans hate seeing modded cars. I can't stand seeing a street sedan with s spoiler. It just looks fucking retarded. The most I'd modify my car with is this:

I wouldn't mind sharing a few. I've had a VW Polo for two years already and recently I felt it was time for a bit of a facelift after VW released their own of the current Polo Vivo(the South African variant of the older Polo as well as the replacement of the VW Citi Golf).

I've just fitted the headlights and grille from the newer facelifted model and then took the fog lights from a Polo 6R and custom fitted them to my car after having to cut out the bumper's dummy covers. I'm not really bothered in terms of performance though, I'd rather go buy another car if I wanted more power.

I saw those photos and I was going to say "Wow that looks a lot like the house from the F&F movie" before I saw that it was in fact the actual house. Nice EVO, always loved those. As for myself I have a 97 GS-T, 5 speed, I was young when I bought it and I wish I would have waited for a GSX. Its just a toy now that I only drive during the summer, lightly modded, Apexi exhaust, K&N FIPK, BOV, short shifter, some gauges. Its nothing special but its clean and fun to drive. I don't have the same sort of interest in modifying it like I use to, I'd rather work on something a little more modern, so it will probably be sold soon enough. Regular DD is a '13 Malibu.

If only I actually had a car.... I do plan on getting one, and then it might get a bit of a facelift. I'm a minimalist in that regard though, I rather not do it over the top.

As much as I would love to attach a picture I simply cannot at the moment. It's way too dark outside so I might attach one in the morning. As for the modifications on my vehicle I have added the following:
New Black Rims

Offroad tires

Slightly tinted windows and

I have lowered it slightly.

2014 Ford F150 XL Regular Cab

Just finished some things on it today.

Has Line-X bed liner (in the bed obviously), Line-X on a front portion of the hood, Line-X along the sides as well. Looks pretty good.

"Looks like a show truck" is the exact words of the gentleman who sprayed on the Line-X.

Headache rack on the back, with 2 RECON 15 inch Mini LED Lightbars wired up appropriately/ differently then originally intended. (Like this except without the reverse lights, and rather then flashing half for each indicator, the whole lightbar lights up except the left, middle and right LEDs seen on in the video.

All connections soldered, so no changing of the stock tail lights for me anytime soon.

Headache rack was made at home, all that was bought was the square tubing for it. All wiring for rear lights were put in the headache rack, before it was welded together. Also sprayed black, with the Line-X coating.

Two 4" RioRand LED Flood Lights on the heacache rack for reverse lights, wired up to a switch rather then reverse lights

One 12" RioRand LED Lightbar installed in the front bumper , where the front license plate used to be, and also wired to another switch inside.

Edit: Just took these on my iPhone earlier tonight. I will try get some daytime pics

Should be self explanatory, how the RECON Lightbars were wired up

Back-up/ reverse lights turned on, along with park lights

Front lightbar turned on

The front lightbar

Lightbar, park lights, headlights & fog lights turned on

Park lights turned on. This is how bright the RECON Bars get at a distance

Had to take this one at an angle, to show what's turned on, when the park lights are activated

The front lightbar, up close.
