This is great news indeed. I was starting to lose hope, especially after seeing RDR never being ported, I worried about GTA V following the same path, ever since they only initially announced the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

 

  Hopefully there's some extra content (more animals, more soundtrack for the radio, new cars, new weapons, missions/ side activities, etc.) that aren't on the console versions.

If it's moddable, it would be great to have LSPDFR, which should be possible with the very skilled and talented LMS. I bet he could do it even if the game had the most idiotic, stupid, always online DRM and modding preventions. Even if it means only being able to play offline, and absolutely mutating the game's internal files and systems to allow single player mods.

 

  Modders will always find a way, they always do.  

Overall, I'm glad it's finally been announced, even if it's a bit later than we hoped. Having already played GTA V twice on Xbox 360, I'm still very excited for this improved version of GTA V, and the mods that will hopefully follow it.

It looks like the interiors are also of a higher quality. Perhaps they implemented a first-person view when in a car! :P

Good to see the upgraded interiors. The ones on X360/PS3 were pretty much identical to the ones in IV.

I always knew it that R* would put V on PC, no way they were going to let Fans get disappointed, & more importantly, lose the much extra revenue generated from V on PC!

Glad to finally hear this. I think most people figured that R* would eventually release it for the Next-Gens and PC, considering that it was the biggest game of the year, and from what I thought, the most commercially profitable GTA game to-date. Kind of makes sense to bring it to PC and Next-Gens for more money. Hopefully it won't suck ass as much;stability wise. Although I never had much of an issue with crashing on a vanilla game. The larger map for V should make a V version of LCPDFR much more fun and whatnot. Liberty City can get boring after a while. lol.

Time to upgrade the graphics card =)

Notice how the trains have "Go Loco" branding on the front. I don't remember them having it on the normal version.

I agree with you there bud, The first thing I did when I got GTA V was crash, It was like hitting a wall, I wasn't impressed :/

If the developers do make LSPD:FR, just how many new Sheriff's dept's and Highway Patrol clans will pop up lol

I can tell you know. They are already in the making of clans. Let's just hope Jay has a kinda heart of opening the Groups tab back up once GTA 5 is released and LSPD:FR starts coming out. Jay if your out there and see this. Please have a kind heart and open it back up
