Make sure to install ScriptHookV into your root GTA V folder. Follow this link to download ScriptHookV. Copy over the ScriptHookV.dll and dinput8.dll into the root folder (where GTAV.exe is located). If you have dsound.dll in your root folder, delete that. Should fix your issue.

Hi all, As the title says, I get an error whenever I attempt to load the RagePluginHook.exe after launching the game via the Epic Launcher. I followed the steps provided in the pinned topic for the Epic Launcher, as well as the tutorial video included in that thread. The error I get says "Slow system or insufficient permissions..." then after a few seconds another message pops up that says "ERROR: Could not hook game permissions or bad anti-virus..." I will attach screenshots of those errors below. I have tried running RPH as an administrator and as a normal program, but still get the insufficient permissions error. I only run Windows Defender on my PC, and I have added all of the RPH files/folders, as well as the whole of my GTA V Epic Games directory to Windows Defender as exceptions, so they shouldn't be interfered with by the AV. I have the newest versions of LSPDFR and RPH installed, as I just downloaded and installed them from here last night. As for the slow system error, I don't wholly understand that. My computer is far from slow or underpowered, and I never had this issue on the Steam version, and with shittier computers I've had in the past. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey all, I searched the forums and only found a couple of responses to this question, but I'd like to play GTA Online, and I know I can't launch using the RPH.exe file since that launches with script mods and whatnot. If I launch via Steam, that would technically bypass the RPH and then I would be playing on the vanilla game, correct? My second question is; since I have modded rpf files for sounds, guns, clothes, and cars, I can't play GTAO because I'll get banned. It's a simple question, but I am having a bit of a brain fart here, how to I create a second directory to install a pure vanilla game of GTA5 to play online? If there's a thread that explains this and it already exists, feel free to point my simple mind towards it. Thanks in advance for any help!

Make sure that you have the ELS files for the vehicles you've downloaded placed in the pack_default (if you didn't change the name) folder inside the main ELS folder in your GTA V directory.

Ahhh blyat. That sucks. I kept seeing people playing GTA with ELS. They must have an older version of scripthook or whatever installed.

Good day all, So I got back into palying LSPDFR now that I upgraded my graphics card to a 1050 Ti, and I'm really excited. However, when I tried installing and using ELS, I can't get the lights to actually light up, nor can I pull up the Info Panel in-game. When I try to activate the ELS lights on an ELS car, only the taillights flash, nothing else. I do have the latest version of LSPDFR, and the latest version of RAGEPluginHook. I also have the ELS files in the GTA V directory, and the VCF files in the correct folder as well. I changed any keybindings that were conflicted to ones that wouldn't be of any issue. When I use a Non-ELS car, all of the lights work fine, so I'm not sure if I have something in the incorrect place, even though I watched Albo's tutorial (which is really good, as are all of his tutorials) on how to install everything. I read in another thread around here that supposedly ELS has issues with the most recent version of Grand Theft Auto 5 (1103 I think) and that there is a fix somewhere for it? I dunno, I'm just here for some help. Thanks all!!!

I read on another ELS thread that ELS 1.05 doesn't support the newest GTA version which is 1103 I think. If that's the case, that might be what my issue is since I am having the same problem. I've got all the *****.xml files in the pack default folder but still no dice. I will look further.

Check that your Post FX setting is set to High or higher, your Particles Quality is set to High or higher, and your Shader Quality is set to High or higher. That may fix your issue.

My jealousy is sky high. I feel so dirty, but my friend directed me to a torrent for the game. This is the first time in I don't know how long that I've torrented a game. Considering it's no where to be found, and any copies for sale are reeeeally high priced, there really wasn't an option. It's installed and working, so I'm gonna give it a h'whack and see if I can still bust some crims!

So I was looking through a couple of spindles of old DVD-Rs that I have on my desk and lo and behold I found SWAT 4 Gold hiding on one of them. I remember playing this game like crazy when it worked! I loved it! But alas, as time went on I lost the original disks and only have the copy on the DVD. :/ Through countless websites I have not found any fixes. I did find the game on Amazon, BUT FOR LIKE A HUNDRED US FUCKING DOLLARS!! heh. So, have you guys every played this game? If so, did you like it? Did you hate it? What did you like/hate about it? Tell me! Allow me to remember the good 'ol days of gaming!! Also, has anyone ever heard of www.games2download.com? They have SWAT 4 Gold listed for $20 USD. If the site is legit, I may purchase. If not, looks like I'm going to be spending $58 on SWAT 4 Gold on Amazon after Christmas!!! I need a life... Oh, and if you happen to have a copy laying around, or know where I can find one cheap, I'll fucking marry you and have your children. Even though I'm a guy...

Hey! Sorry it took so long for me to check back up on here. Anyways, I actually got it to work. I honestly don't know how. I yelled at my computer and the next time I booted the game up, it worked! Seriously!

Hey all! So as the title says, modded guns don't seem to work right for me. I've tried a few different ones in a couple of different weapon slots, but nothing. Anytime I put a gun into the game, it shows up sideways in the player's hands. If I try to shoot it, the game automatically CTD. I haven't had any issues with cars or sounds or anything, only guns. It isn't really as big deal, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to fix it, or if anyone else has had this same issue. Thanks all!!

Don't delete lcpdfr.loader. I would get that error when I would install LCPDFR and then mods that used an older versions of the ScriptHook. Reinstall and mods you have, then install LCPDFR after. That should fix your issue.

That is peculiar...I run over my VRAM and I never had this issue. I would assume it has something to do with the way your system is running. Perhaps your card is overheating? I dunno.

In x64a.rpf there is a file under the data folder that lists all of the error codes! This should be of great help when trying to figure out what happens if something goes wrong!

I still need to get used to it. I'm sure once all of the code and html text is fixed it will look much cleaner. But as of now, the site looks promising. I, however, am unable to play GTA since I started Steam and now GTA is at 59.0 GB/59.1 GB even though I downloaded everything last night. no matter. Surfing the internet I go!!

What exactly do you mean when you say "standard cars" and install different cars on initial install?

It's funny, I read a bit of a Q&A with a couple of the devs of V and one of the questions asked was about modding the game and about how it is/was a huge thing with IV on PC; they asked how V will support it and their only reply was "Since GTA Online has such a massive and vibrant community, our primary focus is making sure that nothing detracts from that experience or has a negative impact on the overall community of players." They didn't really say anything about modding, so I really hope V is moddable.
