  1. You can hail a cab through the original game. I think it might be broken if you have LCPDFR installed, but 1.0 may have fixed that (I haven't tried). You can also ride the subway. Buses, however, you cannot ride. I don't know of any scripts that lets you.
  2. It depends on the model. If the earpiece is a separate model that is added to the ped, then it can be added and removed with the 'special' part in the clothes menu in Simple Native Trainer. If it is part of the model, you cannot remove it. I'm not sure how the earpiece is handled on that model, but will attempt to check right now. Edit: Hmm, this is odd. The earpiece is on as an extra part according to OpenIV, but it cannot be removed with SNT. Let me try some things and I'll get back to you once again. Sorry, but I can't seem to figure anything out about this. I guess you could completely remove the model and textures for the earpiece from the archive, then update the ped data files to reflect that. I'm not sure of all of the steps to accomplish this though, so I couldn't tell you exactly what to do.
  3. I don't even remember. It's been a while...
  4. This reminds me that I need to beat this game. Especially since it's taking up 30 GB...
  5. Not that you need anyone to tell you, but take your time LMS. You've done some sort of magic with 1.0 as it is, even if there are a few hiccups.
  6. I don't share my birthday publicly here, so it would creep me out if I got a topic... Oh yeah, happy birthday OL!
  7. I don't know of any released script that does this...
  8. Windows 8 does require more resources than XP, yes.
  9. I'm an AMD guy and would suggest these: Motherboard CPU And the same RAM Sam linked. Edit: Links didn't show. Also, check other websites for cheaper prices first like tigerdirect.com and newegg.com.
  10. I don't know why it doesn't show any stations until you update, but that link wouldn't work anyway. It has to be a link to an mp3 stream, which IHeartRadio is not.
  11. I faked all of mine. Let's see: Fuck Nope.
  12. What, *****? Don't ******* leave. Get your ******* *** back the **** in here. *******.
  13. Documentation about the API is available in the download with LCPDFR 1.0.
  14. How do you not have a pdf viewer...that's just something that should be on every computer (especially since Adobe Reader usually comes pre-installed...) Also, generally, reading the manual or ini (at least the controls part) when using a mod as large as LCPDFR is a good idea...
  15. Oh, yeah, that never worked for me in .95, I haven't tried it in 1.0
  16. I think that is so you know that LCPDFR is ready for you to use E on the suspect. That's just the way the model is in GTA IV. I'm not sure what you mean by this. In order to initiate a pursuit with a ped who is resisting, you press Alt-E.
  17. I think it's more of a feature to make drunks hard to deal with...lol
  18. Install it manually. You just have to extract all the files from the manual installation folder into your GTA IV directory then pick an asi loader from the folder labeled "LCPDFR Install (ASI loaders)" (dsound is preferred) and put that in the same directory.

  20. Install it manually. You just have to extract all the files from the manual installation folder into your GTA IV directory (right click on it in steam, properties, local files, browse local files) then pick an asi loader from the folder labeled "LCPDFR Install (ASI loaders)" (dsound is preferred) and put that in the same directory.
  21. No, it isn't safe. The world is flooded with support topics.
  22. The siren thing is a known issue and is being worked on. More voice options will be added at a later date - right now there is only the pullover order when you pull someone over and the pursuit updates. Apparently you can press shift whenever you're in a pursuit and in a car to say things.
  23. That's because of the way ELS uses the in-game functions to work the lights (the 'extras' system). There is no fix.
  24. What Ekalb said. Also, Abraxas, the developer of the vdH mods, >announced a while ago that he had stopped development of his mods because of personal problems. Whether this is permanent or not, we don't know.
