  1. It's the lawyer's office, you can teleport to it with Simple Native Trainer (it's one of the preset locations on it), and also where LCPDFR teleports you to when you go to a police station.
  2. This should be moved to Website Support and Suggestions since it's obviously a bug report.
  3. If you want to. If you want the higher frame rate, then I'm sure there are other ENBs that have a smaller frame drop.
  4. If a date is even ever announced, it will be probably a week or less before release.
  5. That's probably just because GTA is horribly optimized, so adding things to make it look better will make it run even worse (obviously). I've never used iceenhancer, so I don't know how much less performance should be affected, but probably quite a bit.
  6. What if you use xlive.dll instead of dsound.dll?
  7. Yeah, I agree with c13. Yes if patrol or traffic, no if for detectives.
  8. Wow, that car is destroyed. I saw that he died on Twitter but didn't realize who it actually was until I saw his picture. I always liked the Fast and Furious franchise, especially 2 Fast 2 Furious (probably because I've seen it like 50 times). It's kind of ironic that he died in a car accident...
  9. Follow this post's instructions:
  10. You probably won't be able to play Arma 2 or 3 on high without frame drop on a computer at that price level. Just the way Arma is.
  11. Vapid Cruiser - police Declasse Patrol - police2 Police Buffalo - police3 Police Stinger - police4 Police Bike - policeb NOOSE Cruiser - noose NOOSE Patriot - polpatriot FIB Buffalo - fbi Police Stockade - pstockade NOOSE Stockade - nstockade
  12. WHAT. I wish I downloaded at 15 MB/s! I can get 1.5 max (average 1.1) at college with an ethernet cable, about the same at home on wifi.
  13. What do you mean by "facing down?" Like, a top-down camera (camera is in the sky)? I'm pretty sure the VC and III apps are third person just like the normal games.
  14. Don't you have a community to run Mr. Acting Community Manager? We should do Arma again, too, so we can get killed over and over and never actually accomplish anything.
  15. According to Abraxas, it's really hard to manually control helicopters with a script. I think LCPDFR just uses the built in helicopter in GTA IV when it chases you, just assigning the target as the suspect instead. And also probably some G17 magic.
  16. I don't see how not knowing a light bar makes you not a law enforcement enthusiast. You shouldn't like law enforcement and want to go into it for the vehicles and light bars. You go into any emergency service because you want to save lives, make a difference, be the person people go to for help; not because you get to drive a car with lights and sirens. Edit: I'm not saying you shouldn't like the light bars, just that you can be a LE enthusiast without knowing all of the names of every light bar.
  17. Well, not everyone is playing for realism...they might like the way the LAPD looks so they use the cars from the LAPD. Right now I have all London cars in because I wanted to change things up. Each person has their own preference to what mods they want in their game. A lot of people look for vehicles from their home town because it's cool to see the cars you see every day in a video game.
  18. You have to connect a bank account to get the money
  19. I've never been able to collect it. I've been a partner since May, but it was really just to do it, not to actually make money. I don't make videos regularly. The video that let me become a partner was a preview of a siren mod. That tends to be viewed a lot since people want to know what it sounds like before downloading it.
  20. I believe the file that changes the stuff that comes from the tires is materials.dat in /common/data/materials, but it's been a while since I used the snow mod.
  21. Well, first I'm pretty sure you need to be invited to the partner program. I got invited to it after one video got over 1,000 views. You need to sign up for Google AdSense and fill some things out. The revenue is not view based like many people believe. It's based on how many people watch and click on the ads. Obviously, this would correlate with the amount of views, but if you have 1,000 views on a video and half of them were people with AdBlock, then you're only getting possible revenue from 500 people. You can only actually receive the money when you have over $100 earned in AdSense (that's the minimum, you can change it so it transfers to your bank account at a higher amount, however). I have $0.80 sitting in there.
  22. You would switch every vehicle to On in ELS.ini in your main GTA IV directory, not in default_config.ini. Plus, ELS.ini already has all of the vehicles set to On in the second release.
  23. My university's police department shared this on their Facebook page and I thought it was nice to know that someone is working to get more dogs bullet proof vests. I feel police dogs are often forgotten about, but they are police officers just as much as the human officers. Also, the officer from 0:30 to 0:45 works for my university's police (University at Albany). http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/video/womans-quest-police-dogs-20894931
  24. Did you put the actual folder? There should be a folder called ELS in your GTA directory. Inside of that folder should be vehicle configuration file.
