  1. Very nice. I only have one thing to say right now: The top left is the normal location for all scripts to show text, so having dialog up there is not optimal. Either using the bottom like LCPDFR and vdH things do, or just some other location on the screen (i.e. Braveheart's Policing Script uses the mid-left section) would be much better. Plus, I have the trainer display the time in that area.
  2. Nope. That's the second manual siren. When you hold the manual siren and the airhorn at the same time.
  3. That's more of a feature. Since the car is no longer in the player's control, the lights dim to save performance I think.
  4. Do the added cars that do work happen to be called police3, police4, or policeb?
  5. You can't really just share the files because each person would do it differently. You need to choose your own handling line to use, your own vehicles.ide line, your own model name....adding cars isn't just "put these files here and those files there," most of it is your own choice of what you want to use.
  6. Well, the AI is a lot better, but the car configurations are the biggest thing for me. You can set defaults for each car and change lighting types and things like that (this applies to the AI too). Plus the sirens actually work. The default siren is disabled, but the AI react to the ELS siren now. They also react to the airhorn. And there is the manual siren so you can do the "woop wooooop" thing. And now with 7.1 you can switch directly to a specific siren type immediately. Edit: Also no random lights spawning on the cars, and it is much more stable.
  7. Good. The badge gives you authority to enforce the law, not break it.
  8. We should have built a shity wall to protect from the mongrorians

  10. Dual sirens wasn't a feature of v7 I don't think, it was technically a bug where the manual siren didn't stop when you started the main siren. Now it will be a fully supported feature that will work much better. Besides, dual sirens isn't the only new thing - the new key control thing, switching directly to a specific siren instead of cycling through, new patterns...
  11. 2 days since last post?! UNACCEPTABLE. This thread must never die.
  12. I'm actually watching Armageddon right now so it's kind of weird that I found this topic at the same time... This looks really good, thanks for sharing.
  13. This one is used in the ELS 7.1 preview, I don't know if it is the same one as the video you are referring to though. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  14. Even if it is a volunteer, the description says they were in a certified emergency vehicle with red and blue lights, not a POV. It probably was a supervisor vehicle, though, by the way it looks. Edit: Also, in NY, you can get a blue light as a volunteer firefighter, it's supposed to be a green light for volunteer EMT. Not that anybody uses the green light.
  15. I noticed it as soon as he pulled up the information panel and the siren thing was different, but you can also tell by the way he jumps from siren to siren throughout the video.
  16. The number is the distance at which they will disappear, so if you want them to disappear more then you would lower the number. I noticed the default number always makes backup units disappear before they can show up, so I turned mine up way high so they will always spawn. But since you want the cars to disappear then you'll obviously want something lower. You could just play around with the number until you find a suitable one.
  17. They are for clearing the random lights that show up on ELS cars because of the game spawning random extras. The distance is how far the script will look for random extras on ELS activated cars. Edit: It is only used on cars with ELS activated and the ELS lights off.
  18. http://www.thesurvivor2299.com/ had the video earlier but they've since changed it.
  19. In a way, but not directly. EDIT: >Have you figured it out yet?
  20. Yes...but it's a bit bigger of a deal than that.
  21. My roommate says that Bethesda confirmed it wasn't their site, plus it looks like we've been Rickrolled.
  22. Nope Well, he is using LCPDFR .95 RC3...but that isn't any different from the other videos.
  23. I'm surprised no one has noticed- NicolaiB unplugs willpv23's computer before he finishes his sentence
  24. In addition to what said, make sure to set the aspect ratio in Movie Maker to Widescreen (16:9), since I'm guessing your monitor doesn't have a 4:3 aspect ratio. In the latest version, it's under the Project tab.
