  1. If you add it to your library now, you will have it forever. It isn't one of those free weekends that Steam does, it's actually free. Also, Steam seems to be running now, it was down for a while due to the heavy load.
  2. Oh, wow, another How To Basic video. There should really just be one topic for these.
  3. You can also force a callout in LCPDFR with ALT-F11
  4. No, you cannot call backup with Policing Script. You need to disable LCPDFR callouts by pressing F7.
  5. Press ~ (the key above tab and next to 1) then type reloadscripts You will have to go back on duty in LCPDFR, the easiest being to press ALT-P then CTRL-P
  6. RAM and a new keyboard is all I asked for, which I would normally buy myself but since other people are willing to do it, why not?
  7. If you go to the next page of the car options, you should be able to make the car whatever colors you want.
  8. Day 4 = 8 Days left on the logo (2 days from now) Day 8 = 4 Days left on the logo (6 days from now) Day 12 = The final day (10 days from now)
  9. Yes, what he said. When there's 8 days left, then when there's 4 days left, then when there's ? left. Wait....
  10. The only random things are the foot and vehicle pursuits in LCPDFR...I think...
  11. I don't even think that's a feature of LCPDFR...have you installed vdH Police Helper? Either way, I don't think there's a way to increase the chance. In Police Helper you can change the time between random events, but not the chance of a specific event. The chances of an event happening are based on time and location (possibly other things too).
  12. http://www.badgeandwallet.com/ I actually learned about that site from it being advertised on this site.
  13. Very nice. I only have one thing to say right now: The top left is the normal location for all scripts to show text, so having dialog up there is not optimal. Either using the bottom like LCPDFR and vdH things do, or just some other location on the screen (i.e. Braveheart's Policing Script uses the mid-left section) would be much better. Plus, I have the trainer display the time in that area.
  14. Nope. That's the second manual siren. When you hold the manual siren and the airhorn at the same time.
  15. That's more of a feature. Since the car is no longer in the player's control, the lights dim to save performance I think.
  16. Do the added cars that do work happen to be called police3, police4, or policeb?
  17. You can't really just share the files because each person would do it differently. You need to choose your own handling line to use, your own vehicles.ide line, your own model name....adding cars isn't just "put these files here and those files there," most of it is your own choice of what you want to use.
  18. Well, the AI is a lot better, but the car configurations are the biggest thing for me. You can set defaults for each car and change lighting types and things like that (this applies to the AI too). Plus the sirens actually work. The default siren is disabled, but the AI react to the ELS siren now. They also react to the airhorn. And there is the manual siren so you can do the "woop wooooop" thing. And now with 7.1 you can switch directly to a specific siren type immediately. Edit: Also no random lights spawning on the cars, and it is much more stable.
  19. Good. The badge gives you authority to enforce the law, not break it.
  20. We should have built a shity wall to protect from the mongrorians
