  1. Yes, but that only works for LCPDFR. GTA IV however doesn't see it as an official police car but as any normal vehicle
  2. Thinking of it, added vehicles don't count as police vehicles and thus don't have working lights and sirens without ELS
  3. Is it an ELS vehicle, and if so, do you have ELS installed?
  4. 1. Assuming you're using ELS, make sure you're in lighting stage 3 by pressing 'J' 3 times. I'm not sure but the siren might be mapped to 'H' aswell so when in lighting stage 3, try both and see which one works. 2. ^What he said^
  5. In the vehicle config file in the ELS folder, look for a line saying "EnableArrowBoard = off" and change "off" to either "hood" or "trunk" depending on what the message board is mapped to (just try and see if it moves to find out what it's mapped to).
  6. Have you tried LCPDFR 1.0c yet? 0.95 is outdated and isn't supported anymore.
  7. Well, we're on to the next round, after what sounded like a lot of effort and near misses. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna try to find the guy that's lighting fireworks just outside my house and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.
  8. I wouldn't say I don't give a crap because I slightly do, but I'm still not bothered enough to actually watch. I'll just listen to what's going on outside. People screaming yes = we scored, people screaming offensive stuff = they scored. All I need to know.
  9. E, C an whatever else there is can be changed by changing "leds" in the vehicle config intowhatever you want. The options and corresponding letters are somewhere in the manual.
  10. Open your trainer, go into options and look for something in the line of "disable/enable trainer keys" and make sure it's set to disabled. then go to the 2nd options page and save the settings to trainer.ini
  11. Steam generally doesn't like mods, which is why you should always use LaunchGTAIV.exe. This launches the game without any Steam interference and thus loads the game the way it's supposed to.
  12. The out-of-memory thing is normal when closing the game with LCPDFR installed. I don't know what causes it but it can be ignored.
  13. Another option would be to go into the trainer > options, at the bottom of the 2nd column there's an option called player drive task or something. Open it and select player drive something. You will then turn into another AI driver and drive around without any weird accidents, although you can't actually steer. If you enable task drive to marker, or whatever it says, you can place a marker on the map and you will drive there. When you're heading to a marker you can actually change speed and driving style (from normal AI to ambulance driver for example).
  14. I'm not sure but I think you might've only installed LCPDFR and ELS for GTA IV and not for TBoGT, but I don't know how to do that since I've only got IV.
  15. You can start the mod by pressing alt+p. About the lights, do you have ELS and/or vehicle mods installed?
  16. Here you go: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  17. Assuming you've got ELS v8, there should be a folder called ELS in your main GTA directory. There should be another folder caled ELS in the download (pretty sure that's how bxbugs does it) and in that folder is most likely a file named after the vehicle, probably ending on .ini (like police2.ini). Move that file to the ELS folder in your GTA directory, then go into the slotcontrol file already there, find the vehicle you replaced with the downloaded vehicle and change default_config into the name of the file that came with the download. Make sure status is set to on (default) and you're ready to go.
  18. As far as I know, when you haven't pulled someone over and then got out of your car, the only way for an ID check is by dragging someone out of their vehicle.
  19. The vehicle you installed probably has a high poly count. Please install this: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  20. It's probably just called lcpdfr and it is a text file in your main GTA directory.
  21. There is no use in saving your game after playing lcpdfr anyway, seeing as it doesn't actually change anythnig to the game.
  22. Seems legit. Well, we'll see if it gets fixed. I know they keep going when you've got the siren on, but that gets annoying when you're on a traffic stop so I guess we'll just have to live with it then.
  23. Turn on the lcpdfr lights (numpad /) just before getting out. It'll make the game think the normal GTA siren is on, thus leaving them spinning,
