Why doesn't the surrounding AI traffic NOT respect you as a player?

Is there a mod out there that shows the surrounding traffic respecting you as a player? Meaning it can get frustrated when the AI traffic has to passed you at or try to go around you at a traffic light? At times they even try to move you if they have to. It just gets annoying where the AI doesn't think you're part of the traffic and you don't belong on the road. Just wondering if there's a mod for this or if someone thought of doing one?

Also I hope I came to the right  forum.

Search Less Overtaking Mod.

Visit me on youtube. The most common reason for crashing is user error. Make sure you have the latest RAGE, ScripthookV, ScripthookVdotnet and turn off your antivirus. Make sure you have an up to date gameconfig.xml as well. Use Allbo's plugin troubleshooter to find any errors too.

That's a double negative, but I love the sentence you actually intended. lol It's because to them you're still Niko or Johnny or Luis. The only difference is that you don't get a wanted level anymore with the mod turned on. Less Overtaking helps, yes, but it can create a massive traffic jam behind you, which isn't very realistic either. I'd recommend changing the way you park behind the car you pulled over. If you park your car slightly to the left when you pull in behind someone (trying to get the center of the nose of your car aimed at their left tail light), you'll give yourself some space to stand at the window and cars going around you generally don't hit your car at all.

I think he means, not during a traffic stop. Normal patrol, pull to a redlight and the traffic behind you, say a taxi van will slowly drive around you, then stop next to you at the traffic light, like you're a traffic cone they have to avoid.

Edit:Happens to me and I can't stand it.

Ah I see what you mean. For that, I actually just tap the gas or reverse buttons every few seconds and the cars behind you stop and won't attempt to pass. It's irritating but I still prefer it over a newly created traffic jam.

Yeah that's my remedy. reverse till my bumper is against theirs but no damage to either.

At least it's something they worked out for GTAV. If you're at a stop light (and maybe stop signs), cars won't try to get past unless you sit there past your time to go. They don't give you much of a chance to go at a green light before they lay on the horn, though.

when I read the title it sounds a bit funny, respect as a player lol, what do you expect its a game XD

It was the best way I could explain it LOL.

Oh I do that maneuver when I have pulled someone over. My only thing I wanted to avoid was the traffic wants to  keep trying to drive around you during a stop light.  i was hoping there was a better solution than just tapping the car behind you or move a little in order for the AI car to stop. Just wished the AI respect you in traffic as much as they do to the other AI cars LOL.

Another option would be to go into the trainer > options, at the bottom of the 2nd column there's an option called player drive task or something. Open it and select player drive something. You will then turn into another AI driver and drive around without any weird accidents, although you can't actually steer. If you enable task drive to marker, or whatever it says, you can place a marker on the map and you will drive there. When you're heading to a marker you can actually change speed and driving style (from normal AI to ambulance driver for example).
