Hi, I was playing and I tried the new CTRL+B feature, but as I'm not so good with this mod, I don't know how to check the ID of someone in a car when I am on foot.

As far as I know, when you haven't pulled someone over and then got out of your car, the only way for an ID check is by dragging someone out of their vehicle.

I think it´s not possible :/ Use vdhPoliceHelper, that´s probably the only option. But even with vdhPoliceHelper you´ll not be able to potentionally citate the driver after checking his ID, you ´d have to get him out of the car anyway ...

You can check ID while on foot in 1.0 and higher releases.  To do so; check peds ID like usual, then hit F10 again, then F12 will appear with something to the effect of "call in ped ID".  You can do this with peds walking and while checking a vehicle.
