  1. No; I've seen some devs move the coronas way below the vehicle though.
  2. You cannot change the colour of the corona lights as it stands now. The closest you can come to all-blue right now is removing the coronas entirely and using the texture itself, ELS-style.
  3. You can turn it on and off globally - if that helps any. Third option under "profile" in the notification settings.
  4. Maybe it might be that I haven't used it in a long while, but the carry handle on that new LMG looks a bit long to be that for the Special Carbine. The hypercars look "feh." at best, to me. I'm more excited over the flatnose truck there, I wonder what that's gonna be used for...
  5. I'm furry trash. You don't WANT to know who my waifu is.
  6. Show me how you can turn off automatic updating. Show me the option, because I have multiple news articles that say otherwise. As for trying to take control of people's computers, anything which forces someone to do something with no say in the matter (such as, say... restarting their computer for updates) is taking control of their computer, in itself. In addition, there was a big stink all over Reddit a month or two back when Microsoft changed Windows 10's sidegrade to download automatically if users hadn't changed the update settings, to the point where it pretty much was "half of everyone went to sleep one night with a Windows 7/8/8.1 computer and woke up with Windows 10". And, if you were one of the lucky few who had Windows 7/8/8.1 after that, you were faced with a prompt that said "upgrade now" or "upgrade tonight". Edit: Let me appear on the record stating that I'm not one of those people circlejerking over "how shit the new UI is" - although I'm not a fan of the flat scheme, it really isn't all that different from Aero. That's not what upsets me; what upsets me is Microsoft telling me what I can and cannot do with my own damned computer. If I don't want to update, I don't want to be forced to. That's one of the things I like about Linux - if I don't want to update something, they don't say "well fuck you, you're updating anyway". Ubu will remind me "hey, mate, you still have updates", but Ubu won't say "hey mate, you had this update for a while so I installed it anyway, so I'm rebooting your computer now whether or not you want me to".
  7. I'm alright with Windows 7, thanks. I don't like my computer forcing updates on me with no option to turn them off (hence probably why I haven't had it sidegrade to 10 on me yet) Edit: Also, I suppose I'm fine with them charging for it since that means they'll most likely stop trying to take control of people's computers and force them to do it.
  8. Hello, Is there presently any way to unsubscribe from notifications on a status update you've commented on? I've found lately I tend to comment on one user's statuses, step away for a mere minute to brew some cola, then come back to 20+ notifications. I know there's a way to do it for threads, is there one for status updates? If not, can I throw that one in the suggestions bin? Cheers.
  9. I dunno, I think I'm gonna have to go with Jock Cranley this year.

MOD INFORMATION This modification replaces the font for the in-game road signs with Transport, Motorway, Tratex, or DIN 1451 Mittelschrift, depending on which font users select. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS If using OpenIV mod folder: 12.0 GiB free space. PREVIEW Please note that specimens shown here may vary slightly from in-game texture, especially in letter kerning and width. WAIT A SECOND, THAT DOESN'T QUITE LOOK RIGHT! Due to the way Rockstar set the signs up, they pool from a common font texture instead of being printed on the sign itself as an overlay texture. Some issues, like letter kerning or width being off, or descenders being cut short, are to be expected due to this. Unfortunately, short of redoing every sign in ZModeller, it would be impossible to make it look exactly right. I apologise for any instances where this causes someone's OCD to act up. It might also cause this sort of silliness: That highway engineer must've been wasted... In addition to the above, a few roadsigns have the alphabet texture embedded within the YDR itself, so this sadly doesn't modify those – thus, even after installation, there'll be a few signs with the original Highway Gothic typeface. Modification Overview Replaces the standard registration plate typeface with Fälschungserschwerende-Schrift (commonly abbreviated to FE-Schrift), a falsification-hindering "typeface" developed in the late 1970s by Karlgeorg Hoefer of the Federal Highway Research Institute of Germany. You can read more about FE-Schrift here. Credits - FE-Schrift developed by Federal Highway Research Institute of Germany. - Edited in about an hour by EvilJackCarver. 10. It's a good idea, yes, however there are a few theoretical limitations* preventing that: You're asking for a dynamic texture to show up in a car, where you can only assign static textures by limitation of the game engine. (The vehicle dashboard is the exception.) In order for the GPS to be on the MDT you'd have to assign countless static textures for every turn and have them flip around as you move around the world, which is also theoretically impossible* - or create a dynamic menu over the MDT itself in the game world which would be tedious in and of itself, given that you would have to do that for literally every police cruiser mod that comes out. In order for the player to actually hunch over and access the MDT you would need to edit animations, a thing which - as far as I'm aware - is also only in the theoretical stages at this point. Accessing the MDT would be a pain if you're recording with the Rockstar Editor, as you wouldn't be able to change camera angle if you forgot to halt recording. Unfortunately, as far as I can see, the LCPDFR (the one that takes place in Liberty City, typing this out for redundancy) MDT screen that we had is probably about as close as we're going to be able to get to what you're asking. --- *Everything is theoretically impossible... until it is done for the first time. -Robert Heinlein

  14. Edit: Finally put two and two together, was staring dead at it the whole time. Had to delete the mods folder and reinstall everything, seems to be functional now. Bit of a heavy-handed approach, but it worked. Modstaff: delete or lock, doesn't matter to me. Original below: I'm new to model swapping and all that and this is my first update I'm riding out, so please forgive me if this is posted elsewhere. Three days ago I installed two vehicle mods, as well as the EUP trio of mods. GTA recently updated, I updated my Scripthook, RPH and ASI loader, and started the game up to crashing. (Reminder to self: post about RPH crash reporter going off screen on their forums) I just spent the last hour narrowing my issue down to the OpenIV.asi in my root folder and I updated it through OpenIV, but the crashing persists. What should my next troubleshooting step be?
