  1. You have to refer to the manufacture's specs and requirements. my gfx card required 400 watts of power, something my 350 just didnt have, so i upped it, eric, Yes it does matter with power, if you have too little, the card will fail

  3. you can buy a cheap one that manages the right processor and HDD space, should not be an issue now a days. the one thing that should concern you is the GFX specs, my computer when bought COULD run gta, at the bare minimum and it was choppy and laggy, i had to upgrade my power supply unit and drop in a graphics card, a $200 upgrade that got it running like i want
  4. did you give it proper details? I changed my PW and didnt apply it to my gtaiv, changed it and i was logged right in
  5. your timecyc settings maybe off aswell, this only happens to me in the booth tunnel
  6. It looks like the diagnostic cannot identify your game version, you might wanna try downloading the 1.0.7.0 patch and try again
  7. Eric, this seems to happen a lot now, i did this on Teamviewer to a friend, and i even opened the gta folder, unlocked it for his system and ran the installer as admin, it still threw an error it took a reinstall of the game to work
  8. There's two possibilities here...1) you edit the els light images in the vehicle.img for that car and make the bar more transparent, or 2) it could be a light modification script on their system

  20. run gtaiv as admin, right click the shortcut, hit run as administrator
  21. 1 = active, change every police car option and ambulance and firetruck to Active = 1
  22. Looks like you need ELS, ELS has separate keys you need to use, check the ELS.ini in your GTA folder
  23. what car...what light bar....screen shot please, how are you trying to light the lightbar up? just the horn/srn key?
