Pursuits will be invoked by LCPDFR so you will have every option available. Plus I spiced them a bit. You've seen one example when girl was thrown from suspect's car on will's video :)

Just like in bait car it's LCPDFR who decides if we will have calm arrest or crazy pursuit.

Oh crap sorry, you are right, I'm so used to have both this & Policing that sometimes I'm so sure they are the same thing   I was actually meaning when you respond to drunk driver callout but that's not your concern xD I'm sorry again.

I have a morbid question whether the suspect has already been a passenger in the vehicle would you suggest a threesome? ha ha ha ha

LOL. That would be possible, but for now I exclude all cars that have passengers, because all scenarios are written for one suspect. Also there are some weird workarounds to not make our girl a suspect during pursuit, so adding another person in car would make things even more complicated.

 

Oh, just a small update on requested features. There will be setting for barrier model offset, so you'd need only to replace CJ_BARRIER_2 with your barrier and set offset. It will work both with barriers used to block traffic and those that are used at roadblocks. Also requested "wash car" feature will be available (there are users that don't use trainer).

Ah I had the baitcar issue happen again just now where they're supposed to be driving to a hideout but they end up crashing into everything and driving off the road and eventually dying or rolling the car. This happened in Schotler I think, a few streets away from the Hospital. They went around the block, then ran into the wall at the back of the hospital, tried to go up the hill and crashed, turned around and crashed, turn around again and crashed, and then floored it through the gap behind the hospital and ended up launching themselves onto the expressway, driving across all 4 lanes before going up the side and rolling. 

 

I'm running 1.2.1 Beta. Is there something on my end I might be able to play with to fix things? Actually maybe it has something to do with the custom map I had in and recently tried to uninstall. I'll try reinstalling PH fresh. 

It may have something to do with custom map. It's really hard to tell what causes that :/

Yeah I'm thinking that was probably it. I've restored my backups (yay for keeping backups!) and will do some testing. 

Maybe some of you are familiar with this preview by willpv23, but for others it may be something new.

This is first of two bigger features that will come with PoliceHelper 1.5. There will be some tweaks, fixes and small additions in other parts of the script too. The second big feature will be presented as soon as it will be ready to test it in it's final form. Hopefully quite soon.

I will be trying to release it before my holidays that starts 1st September, but I can't guarantee anything.

 

Also I'll try to prepare new version for testers for next weekend and I'm sure they will release some footage from it :)

It was really close, so I will release it few days after returning. I'm going to Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina for few 2 weeks, so see you guys.

How about a license plate check system on policehelper, i know there are license plate readers scripts but thats only in the car it also doesnt have a save option so it shows different information with the same car...  it would be really exciting if u could check license plates by checking it with policehelper, standing in front of the plate and clicking read license on policehelper and then all the information shows up...

The new policehelper sounds awesome. Also may I have a small request?

You know how you place a barrier or a cone on the road, then the traffic will stop behind it, if you place it properly. Would it be possible to have that feature without spawning the barriers?

If I'm not mistaken you used invisible faggios with a driver on it, to stop the traffic. The reason I'm asking this, is because every time I do a traffic stop people tend to drive insanely close to me, or even hit me. If I'm on the highway, I can easily be killed as well. Having a barrier or a cone behind my car is not really realistic, so it'd be nice if there was some invisible something there, that stops peds behind my car.

I know there's a mod that stops peds behind my car, but it only works when I'm in the car (also that script tends to crash a lot for me).

A couple of days ago I thought about the same problem as Sgt.Kanyo described. If we don't have it as a part of ELS why we couldn't ask you to just modify a bit the idea you used. Spawning an >>invisible<< faggio in certain distance from center of player's car could work.
