I am working on a modification, that will increase the distance of a lightbar brightness.
This is what I have so far.

It is a combination of few mods. If people are interested, I'll pack all the necessary files together and release it as a standalone modification.
Currently the installation is quite complicated, if you're interested in trying it out, leave a message below.

I'll admit it, I'm not the biggest fan of slicktops, but damn this thing looks gorgeous!

Hey! It's time for an update!

The newest addition to the CHP fleet.
    (Almost done)

    Features:
    - Accurate lighting
    - The front and rear of the lightbar can be controlled independently, resulting in 11 different modes.
    - Accurate Equipment
    - Animated parts (antenna, keys, exhaust)
    - Reflective decals
    - And a lot of useless little details no one will ever notice

We already have a pretty much perfect CHP Crown Vic, but tbh TheHurk's CHP pack is very outdated with boring patterns, inaccurate lighting (the slicktop Charger for example) and also a lot of bugs, including not working lights at night (2018 Tahoe).
So I'd really like to see some well made accurate CHP vehicles, including the V6 Charger in both marked and slicktop version (although I could settle for just the marked one) and the 2018 Tahoe as well.

NaturalVision, it causes it. the author stated on the mod page that it was either good looking lights, or good looking sunset (something along those words).

Sgt.Kanyo got a reaction from Pavy in Game crashes after few minutes
Okay so the weirdest thing happened. My GTA V all of a sudden works flawlessly with all my mods, playing LSPDFR. Had a good 1 - 1.5 hour game when I exited myself.

    Two things happened since then:
    - OpenIV update (since it has the OpenIV.asi which controls all the mods, which I never took out it is possible that it was updated)
    - I edited my enbseries.ini removing v-sync and some antialiasing parameters

I'll only come back here and add a new reply if I get the crashes again, but as of this moment it seems to be fixed.

Sgt.Kanyo got a reaction from Rammy17 in Working memory leak (missing textures) fix
Anyone knows of any good way to fix the memory leak a.k.a. missing textures in GTA IV? I've tried multiple commandlines, so I'm pretty much out of ideas at this moment.
I know it's not related to how good your computer is, since GTA IV is a piece of shit *clears throat* port.

Anyway what you should know about my GTA IV, is that all of the cars are replaced with high poly car mods (wfts are at an average 2 MB size, while wtds are at a 1 MB), so it's a pretty heavily modded GTA, and textures are on high. I don't wish to put the textures down to medium, since GTA's graphics is already kind of outdated, what I'd like is to fix the memory leak in a way so at least I could play through the missions.
What I can do right now is pretty much like 1 or 2 missions if I'm very lucky, and then everything disappears, cutscenes won't load etc.
Unfortunately I'm stuck in the story, because no matter what I do the mission just can't load at this point, that's how bad my memory leak is.

I've tried these commandlines so far:
    -nomemrestrict
    -norestrictions
    -percentvidmem 100
    -memrestrict 629145600   (from gtaforums.com)
-availablevidmem 4.0         (4.0 seemed to work best)

I've tried some of them all on their own and some combined with others.

    TL;DR version:
If anyone knows a possible or known working fix for this, no matter if it reduces FPS or not, please share it with me.

    Ps.:
For reasons unknown to mankind, my EFLC works like a charm, no memory leak at all, no matter what map mod / car mod I use there.

Sorry guys, I'm not modding for GTA anymore. But I suggest using realistic driving or other similar handling mods. Also if you have some experience with GTA IV handling, modding GTA V's handling shouldn't be a big problem.

Can we get at least a fix for the ELS Ford PIU, because I can't even use this car anymore. Like you can see on the picture the red blue lights are always on even when the lights are off!
When the lights are on, those lights shine with a steady burn (and those are not the steady burn lights of the LAPD as you can see they are on even at the back).

My guess is, it's a bug because you don't have extra 2 and extra 3 only extra 1,4,5,6,7,8,9.

And also please add the spotlight to the takedown lights so I don't have to manually turn them on with the spotlight.

If you ever did car mod for GTA, you know it's a 5 minute work to fix little things like that, and ofcourse it can be fixed. Take a look at the LSPD sedan pack (however buggy it is, it still has the correct light patterns with absolutely no ELS bugs).
To my eyes, once those are fixed, the car is finished, because like I've mentioned everything else is just spot on.

The 2nd one does have proper LASD version of it as well. It has LASD paintjob.
The only thing that's not accurate is the lighting stages. It still has red/blue steady burn lights, but the patterns are off.

Honestly, I have no idea. No matter how I try I can't even make the current extras work properly. For example the steady burn mode with the flashing ambers at the back change when I get out of the car, where one extra light lights up for no reason:

Another one of this weird bug is that sometimes the primary light stage has that very same extra always on, sometime it's flashing out of sync, sometimes it's flashing in sync.

Anyway even if these worked properly, there's still the problem of accuracy.
Light stage 1 should be like:

Light stage 2 should be like:

Light stage 3 is fine as it is right now, but the lights need to be synchronized (I'm guessing this is an ELS bug).

Also the spotlights should be added to the "takedown" lights as well, so when you turn it on, the spotlights turn on with the arjent's takedown lights.

For real, this game needs proper LAPD vehicles. Thankfully the Police Interceptor Utility is covered by Desmond98, but we still need the CVPI and the Charger.

I'd love to be able to place road flares just like we can play cones and barriers that stop traffic on the road.
We already have flares as "weapons", but usually they don't stay put and obviously they don't stop/direct traffic.

Currently those are the best option for an ELS LAPD pack, however those vehicles are extremely unfinished. Made for eyecandy pictures, but in game they have no dirt mapping, weirdly working lights (no brake lights on the CVPI), bad wheel placement and they are not LAPD. Missing quite a few things.
The LAPD CVPI might be covered by Scuderio, but taking into consideration he already had almost finished pictures from mid 2017, I wouldn't count on him releasing it.
