  • I've been working with @zombieguy over the past few days to try to narrow down the issue as it seems to only happen for a very limited number of people, but on very different systems (so not necessari

  • Well..without LSPDFR I get 25/30 fps, With LSPDFR I get between 5 and 10 xD  But my pc is a potato : AMD A8-7410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics  2.20Gh up to 2.6Ghz    8GB DDR3  😂

  • yes we shouldnt have to disable cool features like that so hopefully they will release a small update to fix some of these issues

Networking.DisableServerCommunication = True

Networking.DisableDiscordRichPresence = True

Main.DisableAmbientScriptHooks = True

AmbientSpawn.MaxCopsInArea = 0

WorldEvents.IntervalMultiplier = 0.0f

Callouts.Multiplier = 0

Please let me know if that does anything.

Where do I find all of this, because I can't find this in the lspdfr ini.

Just add them to your lspdfr.ini

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

removing the ambient cops helps a lot with texture loss especially if you have high poly custom vehicles in your game.  ambient cops is cool but because the textures and vehicles are so large i believe that is what is causing a lot of peoples texture loss.

so adding these lines to your lspdfr.ini should help you

Spoiler

Ambient.DisableAmbientGameCopSpawnBlock = false
AmbientSpawn.MaxCopsInArea = 0

if you put Ambient.DisableAmbientGameCopSpawnBlock = false in your lspdfr.ini it will make the cops spawn as the default ped models not the custom mp models, just be aware of that.

also some people were complaining about your traffic being lessened during pursuits, if you don't like that you can turn that off by adding this to your lspdfr.ini

Spoiler

Chase.DisableTrafficDensityAdjustments = true

although that might have a performance cost as far as fps, but if you're okay with it, im okay with it 🙂

i also have some stutter issues with frame drops at certain points, didnt have this problem with 0.3

Same. Its... Annoying.

No stutter like that with 0.3.

Performances really needs improvement. And disabling some features (especially the ambient ones) in the INI is not an option. We should be able to play with all features. 😥

It works perfectly. Thank you very much for the solution !!! 😀

Okay this thread seems to have devolved into two (different) issues:

  1. Issues with FPS with absolutely no other mods (scripts, plugins, vehicles, visual mods, whatever) and a vanilla game (this is something we're investigating and looking into and most interested in hearing from)
  2. Issues with FPS with high-poly vehicle mods installed, or other demanding mods installed. 0.4 does far more in the background (like spawning police and vehicles) -- this seems to work perfectly fine in a vanilla game, but not in one where you have 4k vehicles for example. A solution has been posted above. We're not likely going to be able to make this hugely better, as in these cases, your game is lagging due to your other third-party mods.

medicbobs same exact issue lspdfr gives me frame drops and it stutters abit but when i play gta regular no problems

Sadly performance is a big problem right now. With LSPDFR off I get around 100 fps and with it on it often drops to 35-50, especially when I call for transport or pursuits (on foot too).

Hi

Yep, for me too.
Clean GTA: 50~60 fps
LSPDFR Only ( no other scripts mods, no traffic or graphics mods either): 20~25 fps
LSPDFR Only with pursuit or callout active: 12~20 fps

It's hard, with modded 0.3 I got 35+ fps ( not the ideal but completely playable for me).

My same problem. Hmm maybe soon they will fix it. Literally only when a call drops, ambient events, or traffic stop.

Just gonna go on a limb here and state that I believe the reason the ambient cops is causing issues is because they stay spawned in game on their ambient event be it traffic stop or what not, until the player shows up and has a visual then they will complete what they are doing and pull off.  Until the player shows up in visual they remain in that spot. Not sure if thats caused by ELS cars but IDK. Just thought I would mention this.
