  • I've been working with @zombieguy over the past few days to try to narrow down the issue as it seems to only happen for a very limited number of people, but on very different systems (so not necessari

  • Well..without LSPDFR I get 25/30 fps, With LSPDFR I get between 5 and 10 xD  But my pc is a potato : AMD A8-7410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics  2.20Gh up to 2.6Ghz    8GB DDR3  😂

  • yes we shouldnt have to disable cool features like that so hopefully they will release a small update to fix some of these issues

When driving around and encountering the FPS drops, can you make the camera look at your vehicle from a bird's eye perspective? Does your FPS increase significantly or only slightly? Please do the same during a chase as well.

I have some FPS loss.

I use clean LSPDFR install plus some ELS Police cars.

When I move the camera to above my vehicle the FPS goes up by 10-20 FPS.

What does this mean? If anyone knows. Thank you.

a patch would be nice to fix the stuttering issues and frame drops, happens even on vanilla gta , pretty certain its from ambient events and the default callouts because every time they happen i get a slight freeze in the game

same, i disabled a lot of the settings like lms suggested and still had frame drops and stuttering so i just reverted back to 0 3 1 until this gets resolved, it runs buttery smooth now but saddened that i cant run the new version in its current state

You're not alone. I'm reverting back until theirs a patch. 0.4 is great but just too many crashes and performance drops.

Those entries are fine, it is basically rebinding its internal keys to the one in keys.ini. Nothing to worry about.

With everything maxed (MSAA 4x) I get around 50-60 FPS on 1080p. This is with a 4790k and a GTX 1080. Running LSPDFR has no impact on that, unless I am in a chase with many units (drops to around 40 FPS when I have around 10-15 units). We've had a lot of people test the mod with very different setups and had no performance concerns at all, so the issue is a little odd. The logs unfortunately also do not reveal anything so far.

Since this issue seems to be hardware independent for you guys, the only idea I have right now is disabling a few subsystems and see if it helps at all. To verify first please make sure you have no other plugins loaded at all. I'd recommend driving through a specific area, get a good idea of your average FPS there and then loading LSPDFR and going on duty. You should notice any FPS hit at all. If you do, please use these options one after another and see if it helps at all (reload scripts between settings change):

Networking.DisableServerCommunication = True

Networking.DisableDiscordRichPresence = True

Main.DisableAmbientScriptHooks = True

AmbientSpawn.MaxCopsInArea = 0

WorldEvents.IntervalMultiplier = 0.0f

Callouts.Multiplier = 0

Please let me know if that does anything.

Cant change none of these setting.

Networking.DisableServerCommunication = True

Networking.DisableDiscordRichPresence = True

Main.DisableAmbientScriptHooks = True

AmbientSpawn.MaxCopsInArea = 0

WorldEvents.IntervalMultiplier = 0.0f

Callouts.Multiplier = 0

How do i change those?

Clean install, no mods, no plugins etc.

Getting frame drops and stuttering.

I too experience this.

I have a lower speced PC but is capable of running GTA V. 0.31 had its little lags here or there but normally where I was using a lot of mods, skins, etc.

I am using base GTA V with LSPDR and no other mods, scripts or callouts but I find the performance is lower when the game starts with LSPDFR loaded, but the stuttery lag kicks in when on duty and especially when going to a call. For example, lots of lag spikes when responding to the robbery in progress call.

I've put in:

WorldEvents.IntervalMultiplier = 0.5f
WorldEvents.MaxNumberOfEvents = 1
Chase.CopsCanCommandeerVehicles = true
Networking.DisableServerCommunication = True
Networking.DisableDiscordRichPresence = True

And it is now far more playable but still has stutter and lag.

When do you get the worst fps? Using the settings above with the latest version I run the game perfect until I am on a callout then my fps is all over the place.

Do you use vehicle mods that have a very high polycount or have 4k liveries?

if yes those are probably to blame for the map loading issues, GTA often can't handle those too well.

well, lspdfr also puts extra stress on the game, so those textures/hq models would hit the game harder with it loaded.

No, unoptimized models with too high poly count or no LODs can cause issues too.

whenever people I know had issues with map loading and such we were able to trace it back to this or 4k liveries in a lot of cases.

aight aight but sadly this is not 4k so must be somting else. anyway only when force duty the problems begin
