What he said, but DLS does work. I use the latest version of DLS from their Discord on the latest version of Enhanced and it works.

GTA 6 will be just like RDR2. Not moddable! They still haven't be able to mod that game. We're screwed 

I know you can for the keyboard but now do you change the controller bindings for ELS? I need to free up some keys. I tried erasing alot of the ones under controller in the ini and it still didn't do anything. 
 
ELS is the only thing to make the ELS vehicles work huh? I literally only need the lights and siren to work..2 buttons..

I know this is old as hell, but it's a common problem with ELS. Just go to the ELS.ini and change ElsTrafCtrlOn = false
 
This will stop them from doing that. 

What I do is start the game and then when you're in you start RPH. If that is not working, then you have a plugin causing conflict. 

Hey there, I am just here to ask the community as a whole if there is any way of creating some sort of a command line or patchfile to make AI units respond code 2 properly (no sirens) with ELS. I am aware that ELS itself is dead and no longer getting updates, but would it be impossible for me or someone to create some sort of patchfile or codeline for ELS to make AI unable to use Siren during code 2?
 
I am aware that there are ways to make AI not use lights at all and all that. I just really want to be able to have my units properly respond code 2. I would just use non ELS models except none of the good models/skins are non ELS.

Finally if it really is impossible to fix this in any way. Does anybody know of any good non ELS Police vehicle packs for all departments?

Reading through this topic, I'm even a little confused as to what the question was and how some of these topics came up, so allow me to offer some insight.
 
- You can utilize ELS's features (siren control only) with non ELS via a VCF that disabled ELS using the vehicle extras.  However, you still need ELS installed.
 
- Non-ELS came first.  That's what stock GTA is, vanilla cars, vanilla lighting.  I'm not sure how this confusion started of non-ELS cars not working with GTA.
 
- Non-ELS cars install the same way as ELS, there's just one differences:  ELS comes with an XML that has to be installed.

Anyone experiencing this issue go to your GTAV game Settings scroll down to notifications turn on phone notifications this has fixed mine somehow they got turned to the off position.

If you are using ELS, turn of TrafficControl in the ELS.ini. 

It's a known and long issue that sometimes when you pull over the car, your FPS will drop a bit. Usually it happens in a complex roads/intersections (inner city area)
But it will back up as soon as the driver finds the right path and place to stop.
 
I guess it's caused by "the finding stop position" algorithm within LSPDFR and only the LSPDFR dev can fix/improve that.

Honestly, that isnt a bad idea. A new idea like that can encourage other mod makers and even more amateur ones to get into modding more.

Thanks for the suggestion, we would definitely like to add more mod discovery functionality in the future. For that to work well we will need more feedback on how people are using Lenny's Mod Loader and what kind of mods are ported to it. Hopefully we can gain some insight on this in the next few months.

Just wondering if there is a mod like this so that when I finally light them up they dont slam on their brakes on the interstate and cause me to smash into them. Slowing towards to the side of the road would be nice.

Yes, it is a downgrade compared to the previous apartment. Both apartments are available, so depending on your bribes payroll you can use whichever suits you.

I know it sucks waiting for updates but you have to remember that everyone's doing this for free.  Besides, LSPDFR and all plugins for it work without ScriptHook V, as do things like the OpenIV mods folder.  
 
And no!  All plugins that work with LSPDFR 0.4.3 should also work with LSPDFR 0.4.4.  The only reason a plugin that worked before wouldn't work now is if the authors of the plugin deliberately make it incompatible with new versions, in which case it's nothing to do with us!

I admit when I first saw it I thought it would be one of those "solutions" that aren't really a solution since they offer a big expense of quality but by downscaling these huge and unnecessary textures, the only difference I noticed was no more texture pop ups and stable gameplay.
