Based on Sam's most recent response, they said something along the lines of "We're still committed to bringing you guys 0.4 in February".

That wasn't exactly a "Yep, update should be posted (example day of the next week)."

So I'm guessing that they're still in hardcore development and we'll probably get an update on the 28th.

Either way, a job very well done so far and I'm looking forward to see what you've done in the time!

Just as a heads up, I can't think of much that makes me grumpier than having to hide 24 nonsense posts after working without sleep on 0.4.

Thanks @Sam shame You have been given the extra workload because of people gobbing off.. a hazard of this particular workplace I guess.

It's not like 0.3 isn't playable or enjoyable in the meantime. We'd all love 0.4 to be ready right now, but the team needs to do what needs to be done still. I believe that @Sam and the team have shown nothing but the utmost commitment to this so let's just enjoy 0.3 in the meantime. Some things in life are just worth waiting for. Like a fine wine.

I'd rather wait so that whatever necessary fixes and tweaks are done before it's launched. This way, LSPDFR 0.4 will be:

Great? Absolutely. 
Amazing? Definitely. 
Hotel? Trivago.

Iknow that feeling but patience is very good  even if we ask when release or wtv bad comment they wont release 0.4 faster but can take more time because they need to handle bad comment and remove some post

I wholheartedly agree with your valid point

Would a clean re-install really be necessary? I have so many mods it'd take me ages to put them all back in, as well as my vehicles...

 

Surely just replacing 0.4 with the current LSPDFR would do the job?

Vehicles, no, but all mods.. possibly, as we don't know how they'l react with the mod.

I’m fairly sure there’s 6 days left in February (maybe for people in New Zealand there’s only 5), but they’ve got up to 23:59 on the 28th in UTC-12 to still release it on time, so I don’t see why you wouldn’t include today.

 

But I agree that the devs have been very good to us they have said on multiple occasions that theoretically you shouldn’t need to remove all your mods. I don’t imagine even they know for certain what will and won’t work with 0.4
