Terpz reacted to Babylon98 in LSPDFR Computer IssueThe only thing that was off was phone alerts, that seemed to have fixed it though. Thanks for the help.

Terpz reacted to zombieguy in Performance IssuesSo I set up a test circuit downtown and proceeded to drive around it looking in the same directions as much as possible.
FPS ranges include: unloaded 71 - 92, loaded 57 - 75, on duty 51 - 67, with all the settings applied (I think stuttering was maybe less) 55 - 65. Requesting and accepting a callout in the area proceeds to drop the fps down into the lowest being around 43 fps (however this is including a car chase with a 2 unit backup).

Terpz reacted to zombieguy in Performance IssuesWhile LSPDFR is active my framerate takes a very hefty beating. I normally run stock GTA V at around 90 - 100 fps, however, while on duty/pursuit I average around 30 - 45 fps most of the time. For reference, my specs are a 4770k @ 4.1GHz, 16gb of ram and a GTX 1080. I also have a fresh install with no other mods installed and have tried: running rage plugin hook as admin, running fullscreen and windowed, lowering and increasing graphics settings and disabling as many background processes as possible.

Terpz reacted to Nostrra in ObservationsFurther observations:
Peds will 50 percent of the time get back out of the car after being put there, only started after installing assorted callouts so that could be the culprit. Game crash calling EMS at the airport. -
Terpz reacted to Nostrra in ObservationsAs I originally did a while back with LSPDFR, I'm going to open a thread and note down my observations whilst playing 0.4 as a kind of log of any issues I encounter. I've currently encountered the following:
Issues
1.) Pressing 'A' on the 360 controller in the interaction menu on dialog currently does nothing, just makes the selection noise. Works fine on keyboard 2.) Should an 'accident' happen wherein you accidentally slap an arrested individual by pressing B on the controller to go back, should they be revived by a medic, LPSDFR seems to lose reference of the suspect and they subsequently can't be re-arrested. 3.) Unsure how to re-create, but after a while I lost all ability to conduct traffic stops. Remarks
The new pursuit AI is fantastic, I've yet to catch up with one and successfully stop it. Randomised cops is a huge huge plus I believe paramedics are also random?

Terpz reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.4 API UpdateI just want to note as well that it'd be a lot better if we could use topics like this on the forums to report development related issues and ask us questions, rather than making uninformed, salty comments on twitter, discord, or wherever else.
If you think there's an issue with something, just let us know about it here.

Terpz reacted to DevildrummerX in LSPDFR 0.4 - Now AvailableTo anybody getting a crash on launch with a fresh install. Try deleting your old saves. I had to delete all my saves, and start a new game and get past the initial start of the game before LSPDFR would load without crashing on start up.

Terpz reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.4 - Now AvailablePlease read through the documentation: https://www.lcpdfr.com/wiki/lspdfr/04/features/characters/
If you want to have different uniforms and stuff, that's where the new powerful customization features come into play.
We have an entire section dedicated to all of the different things that can be customized:
By default, LSPDFR is designed to work with the default game. It is meant to work for everyone, not just people with 20 different mods installed.

Terpz reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.4 - Now AvailableFirst time playing 0.4? Check out our new getting started guide for LSPDFR 0.4: https://www.lcpdfr.com/wiki/lspdfr/04/getting-started/
About a year ago, we announced the development of LSPDFR 0.4. We said it was big, and we said it was different, but I honestly don't think any of us quite imagined just how big and different it would turn out to be, nor how much of a challenge it would be to take the concepts and ideas that we had and turn them into reality.
Still, here we are. Thousands of changes later, we're here. Everyone on the team is delighted to announce the first public release of LSPDFR 0.4, available now.
LSPDFR 0.4 brings sweeping changes which have been implemented over a number of years, so much so that we're not able to provide full release notes. Instead, we've put together a number of resources, new to LSPDFR 0.4, including a 'wiki' and a collection of more in-depth guides.
Note as well that because of this - the sheer number of things that have changed - there will be issues. We've put over two months into testing 0.4, and we've made hundreds of fixes in this time. Still, there's undoubtedly going to be things that we've missed, or things that simply can't be tested in a controlled environment. This is a big release, and we wanted to do right by all of you by getting it out as soon as we can.
With that being said, I'll shut up now and let the mod speak for itself.

LSPDFR 0.4 Wiki: https://www.lcpdfr.com/wiki/lspdfr/04
Note that we strongly recommend installing LSPDFR 0.4 for the first time on a clean copy of Grand Theft Auto V with no other mods or plugins.
