Hi everyone,
 
My mods folder decided to corrupt itself, so I redid it all along with a bunch of new mods, but now when I select a weapon from the weapons wheel, it will crash the game... It doesn't do it with every weapon though, just after cycling through a few...
 
I also downloaded RGS (Realistic Guns Sounds), so maybe this is the reason to why it is crashing? It's the only thing I can think of...

Certain gameconfig downloads allow you to choose the traffic density, as I have 2x traffic. I believe there is a 0.5 option

Quite a lot of people have been having similar issues.
 
I had quite a few 4k texture vehicles in my game, so I resized them to 2k and it's actually been working fine for me since. I think this is because with the 0.4 update there are a ton of AI cops on patrol so having 4k textures will just eat up your memory.

So Computer+ has been updated for 0.4 but it says it requires LSPDFR+, does LSPDFR+ still not work, and therefore will computer+ still not work?

I had a dream the other night that it was released... then I woke up and realised it wasn't! 😠

All I want is Interaction+, Smart Radio, Computer+ and the spotlight. Oh yeah, Ultimate backup as well. Just want those to be updated!

Would a clean re-install really be necessary? I have so many mods it'd take me ages to put them all back in, as well as my vehicles...
 
Surely just replacing 0.4 with the current LSPDFR would do the job?

Install the callout packs to plugins > lspdfr and when in game, type ForceDuty into the console, hop in a patrol car and drive around. If you want to force a callout press the 'x' button on your keyboard, but you can also download a plugin called Callout Manager so you can manually select a callout if you really want to.

Thanks for that! I was searching everywhere. I did think it'd be a Whelen Justice but the fact that they usually have clear lenses made me think maybe not...

Giordano, you're amazing! I have no more issues AT ALL with GTA or lspdfr as they've all been resolved!

Do you use ELS and open computer+ with the button E?
 
If so,  It could be ELS making the driver do that so try going into your ELS config and turn the traffic control variable to False.

I have a GTX 960, much less RAM and an i5 processor and it hardly lags for me, so I doubt this is a problem. But yeah, update your game is a good idea. 
 
I also had this ploblem a while back and I believe that it was the keep calm plugin, although I can't be too sure. Try removing Keep Calm and Keep Calm.dll from your plugins and try running the game. You never know, it may work.

I've managed to sort it now. It was something to do with writing to the court cases mod, so I just disabled court cases.
