Well, then we would have to deal with bugs. Currently, they are done with 0.4, they are spraying it down with pesticide, so we don't have to deal with bugs

  • Let's all take a deep breath and rest assured that we're still committed to releasing 0.4 this month.

  • Just as a heads up, I can't think of much that makes me grumpier than having to hide 24 nonsense posts after working without sleep on 0.4.  Lack of sleep I can deal with; people being idiots not

  • I've been informed we'll have to delay release by one day for each cat that is killed.

Already the fourth quarter of the month, I hope so long wait is justified

Bro quit whining if its march and no update then I wanna see your message until then go pretend to be a cop on 0.3

I was expecting all the messages on this page to say "100 pages." I'm not quite sure how some people think that the updates going to be released at a milestone. It's clearly not ready for release yet, however I'm glad to see that there's a lot less comments of people asking when it's going to be released. The thing is if they did announce that it was going to be being released on the 28th then we'd all be disheartened because we would know we've still got another week to wait.

Anyway bringing it back to relevancy , I'm wondering how specific the customisation will be for specific patrol areas, do we reckon it'll be set areas such as davis, rancho etc or do you think we'll be able to customise it down to the street level, e.g a higher presence of swat/noose vehicles at the noose hq for example.

I think it will be street level, any map mods would break the whole thing if we had it by area.

I'm hoping street level, for example a co-ordinate system or something, however I think it'll likely be a bit simpler probably using the games system to recognise areas for dispatch messages, having unmarked cars near the FIB office etc and mixing up the patrol areas will be a major feature for me.

Yeah that sounds great, defining specific unit stations is going to be so cool!  Also once we all get a taste of 0.4 I cannot wait to see how the great minds in this community expand it even more.

Custom stations has been a long time coming, there's a good number of stations already, but there's a couple of small places that the game often refuses to give a police presence such as the Vespucci beach station and the Vespucci pier station.

I wish I could come up with some cool customization for 0.4 but I'm too lazy and uncreative to think of one.

Huh, yeah I’ve been wanting to apply for DOJ but 0.4 is coming out haha .

Not a huge fan of communities anymore personally which is why the release of 0.4 is a godsend as I haven't played very much of 0.3.1 recently.

Sam said in another post - “There's also a couple of things on that list (adding police stations for example), which might not be so relevant anymore.” just FYI
