  • Let's all take a deep breath and rest assured that we're still committed to releasing 0.4 this month.

  • Just as a heads up, I can't think of much that makes me grumpier than having to hide 24 nonsense posts after working without sleep on 0.4.  Lack of sleep I can deal with; people being idiots not

  • I've been informed we'll have to delay release by one day for each cat that is killed.

You misunderstand our reason for not giving a specific date. We are not a professional studio and do not have an army of people to work all day. There are so many different things to prepare and prepare for this release. It's not like we finished 0.4 in January and decided to make everyone wait by month, just for fun.

just a question, when publishing version 0. 4, will it be possible to have documentation on the keys or on the stuff that can be done in addition to the previews that there is already had?

Well, now, stop asking the release dates it's planned for the month of February, so let them work. I think  @Sam and @LMS are doing everything in their power to get out as quickly as February 26 or 28, but understand that they are not 1000 people and if you let them work, you might get a better version of lspdfr because whenever you disturb them, the lspdfr could be less good! sorry english low

I've asked that we all do our best to keep this open and the discussion flowing.  As long as people aren't taking advantage of this by trolling or being generally disruptive/stupid then there shouldn't be any problems.  We know that everyone is excited about 0.4, and that's something that we should be happy about.

All we ask for is that everyone tries to stick to the topic of 0.4 and to keep things nice.  No need to troll people with edited screenshots and no need for pages and pages of off-topic arguing.  That being said, I don't think there's a problem with a little banter and discussion among members.

Just keep things nice.

That's all most of us LEOs were doing was bantering having a laugh to keep things entertaining. If the mods think we were being disruptive disrespectful I do apologize however I don't believe any of us we're mean, just discussing real life scenario's we'd encountered in our law enforcement careers. Our posts were deleted so it's over now. So no harm no foul.

@Sam

Well, could you tell us if you're planning to release it this weekend? It would definetly clear some stuff up and would tell me if i should go on reloading the page every minute or if i could take a little break😄No matter if it's a yes or no I would really appreciate it!

I'm in the community for 6 years now and i loved to play LCPDFR.

LSPDFR is even better.

I don't really know how you can handle all this for free.

It must be very time consuming and often very exhausting.

Don't get me wrong.

Even i was one of the people who ,,fought'' off- topic i really appreciate your effort and energy you put into this project.

But i think it was wrong to give out Feb as release date.

How do you want to know it's finished than?

I like how you handled it with the previous updates.

It's done, when it's done.

Yeah, my F5 finger is going numb and discolored, my cat needs feeding and I'm starting to smell, but if there is hope, I'll continue.

EDIT: Cat died, so that's no longer an issue.

Good my child. Keep the cat sacrifices going. Every day without 0.4 a cat will pay... IN BLOOD!

@Dehnd You definitely have no life if you reload the page every minute...   *me reloading the page every 30 seconds* 😄

@Schecter004 Maybe they're in the test stage and making some little improvements to the code or functionality.

The features page is down by the way:

https://www.lcpdfr.com/lspdfr/features/#

Instead of refreshing the page 1000 times a minute use this website: https://visualping.io/

then you can get an email alert when 0.4 is released.

Or or you could use this page: https://www.lcpdfr.com/discover/

There are other ones out there, or even extensions for chrome, just google Website Update bot. Then when the alarm sounds you’ll know it’s time!

Note: Sorry if this isn’t directly related to 0.4 In the most direct sense possible as required by some, but it will save a lot of people time!

Alternatively you could follow us on social media, or just be in an LSPDFR related Discord. I'm sure the moment it's released it will be a fairly obvious affair.
