Evening all, hope you're doing well. Also apologies if this is in the wrong section, it's been a hot minute since I've been on the forums here. Long and short of things: I'm trying to get the Forced First Person Aim Mod to work. Realized I needed ScriptHookVDotNet and so I installed that, and while it worked at first as soon as I tried loading RPH I got a crash to desktop. In doing some research I found out that apparently the currently available version of SHVDN isn't compatible with RPH or the current version of GTA (Not sure exactly which one is the issue, but I digress). Been scratching my head the past couple hours trying to find a workaround but really haven't found many solutions. Is there a potential fix for this so I can get the mod working, or am I just kinda out of luck? Thanks!

Okay, I think something is seriously broken with my game. Haven't played GTA/LSPDFR for quite a while (about three months). Decided I wanted to jump back in the other day and went through the godawful process of making sure all my mods were updated, installed the new version of RPH/Scripthook, etc etc. Took some time to get things running properly but finally the game loaded. Except now I'm running into some major issues, namely: 1) When in third person view, I can move around just fine. But when I switch to first person, it seems like my character is stuck looking to the left. I can move a couple feet, but only walking straight forward, and then it's like I get frozen in place. 2) Can't select/use any weapons. Selecting them in the action menu does nothing, and trying to aim (Right click) does nothing. Here's what I've done to try to fix things: - Restarted my PC - Reinstalled LSPDFR - Reinstalled RPH/Scripthook - Tried starting just vanilla GTA without any mods Nothing's worked so far. Anyone else ever have a similar issue? And if all else fails, what should my next course of action be? Just delete my mods/plugins folders and start fresh? Thanks!

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but google's been less than helpful. My character in-game still uses the old flashlight animation (looks like he's walking around in a horror film), and I can't seem to get the over-the-shoulder flashlight animation to work. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Is it possible to revert to 0.4.0? I'm having a ton of crashes with 0.4.1 that weren't an issue previously.

I would definitely love to see an M&P9/40/45. Glocks are nice, but as someone above pointed out there's quite a few already floating around.

Firstly, I'll say that I'm blown away by the stability of 0.4 compared to 0.3, even with quite a few plugins installed. Played for about 3 hours last night without a single crash. So this is a very minor issue and more of a tiny annoyance, to be honest. But I noticed that the in-car radio is always on when I first get into a vehicle, and have to turn it off either via the M menu, or by going into the trainer. Anyone know of a fix for this?

I'm currently running NVR without any issues as of yet, though I haven't had a ton of time to play. If NVR causes any issues I'll edit this post with that. So far I'm really enjoying 0.4. The first thing I noticed was that it seems like traffic stops have been refined quite a bit. In 0.3 the AI would just scoot over a couple feet and basically stop in the middle of the road. Every car I've stopped so far (albeit only a few) have pulled all the way over or even onto the sidewalk just a little, which I feel is way more realistic and safe for players- less likely to get hit by a car. In terms of addons I've gotten ELS, EUP, NVR, SimpleFootControls, some custom vehicle models, and custom weapon models working without a hitch. I might also give some of Albo's mods a try just to see if any of them work, it seems like there's been mixed success with other people. Mostly I'd just like to have Computer+ and Smart Radio back, maybe Traffic Policer as well. Been experiencing some performance loss even when just running LSPDFR on its own, so I don't think it's the mods doing it. My old system ran 0.3 fairly smoothly so I'm trying to figure out what's causing the FPS hit. Aside from that, loving everything in 0.4!

I'm having a similar issue, FPS seems to be taking a hit even when just running 0.4 without any other mods. I was usually getting 40-45 FPS with 0.3 on my current system (G4600, 16Gb DDR4, 1050Ti), now it's hovering around 20-25, even less if I'm responding to a callout or on a traffic stop. If you find a fix I'd love to hear it.

I noticed that too, which sucks because they were honestly some of the best mods out there. My optimistic side is hoping they just took them down in preparation for 0.4 and to update them accordingly, but we'll just have to wait and see. I'm also praying that Albo's mods get updated soon as well, I didn't realize just how much I used them until trying to play without.

Any news on whether ELS works with 0.4 or not? Was able to load up custom vehicle models without issue, but it seems like ELS isn't cooperating.

So, dumb question: Is a completely clean reinstall of GTA recommended, or would just deleting the lspdfr/plugins folder and other third-party scripts work as a good jumping-off point for 0.4?

I noticed something strange with ELS last night when I went to play LSPDFR. When I activated ELS and went full code 3 my headlights did one of two things; either they turned completely off, or one side (left or right) would turn off. I've googled around and apparently some people have had the same problem, but I haven't seen any concrete solutions. Any ideas?

I've seriously considered getting a cheap set of pedals just for LSPDFR, but it seems like all of them are $100+.

I'm curious because I'm considering changing my setup, at least a little. At the moment I just use an Xbox controller for driving, but it leaves a lot to be desired. Using the trigger for throttle is particularly annoying; it seems like the trigger will travel halfway before the throttle even engages, and then it suddenly revs near to the top of the range and sends me flying forward. Obviously not great for smooth driving.

Quick question for ya'll: What setting do I have to change to get coronas/flaring off ELS lights to show up when you're closer to them? As of right now they appear like this when I'm in the vehicle or standing very near it: And they only appear really bright when I'm standing quite a ways away: I've tried changing just the emissive brightness, but that doesn't seem to do anything, and they still appear fairly dim. All my graphics settings are either on high or very high as well.
