  • Let's all take a deep breath and rest assured that we're still committed to releasing 0.4 this month.

  • Just as a heads up, I can't think of much that makes me grumpier than having to hide 24 nonsense posts after working without sleep on 0.4.  Lack of sleep I can deal with; people being idiots not

  • I've been informed we'll have to delay release by one day for each cat that is killed.

They probably wont make the end of the February release date.  I honestly wish they didn't even give a date.  What is the point of doing that.  There was less pressure on them before announcing they are 'almost' done, now they got the whole community pacing back and forward waiting.  It seems many modders slowed down on releasing new mods and updates in anticipation of this release.  Shoot, just say "We anticipate to release it on Feb. 28th.  If its earlier, then great.

Lol Sam and the other Developers have you guy's right where they want you. Rest assured, they would not have made this thread with the title it has if there was no released planned for this month. It is coming. And we are so late in the month it's only a matter of days at this point. Lets dial back the speculation and presumptions and just try and be patient and await the 28th. Not much more we can do tbh.

i gues they will release lspdfr 0.4  28th february... or 26... 😞

What i wish for is if they could give there API to those top modders out the like Bejeljio o, so he can work on mod that would complement lspdfr 0.4 at release date. We still have to wait for police radio, a traffic policer mod type to pull car over and doing radar. Even if the release would be today, i don't think it's a full fonctional lspdfr we gonna get day 1.

Don't post this blasphemy! Too much common sense in this post. I'm sure the reason behind the announcement it is to see the hype. Ff that's the case they've achieved it.

You say it like any of the management team expected over 2,000 comments and nearly 300,000 on this release post... rest assured i dont think that was the case. In other news, if Sam had said "It will be released by Feb 28th", it would have been exactly the same as saying it'll be released in Feb 2019.

Shockie

Tester for a little tiny unknown mod called LSPDFR

Big Cop RP'er in every way!

So for LSPDFR 0.4 what i know is that we will be able to give a real police officer's life or almost to our character? sync with the website give him/her a name, age fully customizable, same for agency you can have your own apartment and a reworked flashlight with some improved stuffs, radio, crime scenes? and much more i think i forgot? let's talk about this all

They said they would release in February, and it's still February. So... The only issue here is people being impatient. Don't criticise the devs and start throwing around false accusations, due to your own lack of patience.

You're also misleading people who may have just come here to read the comments, and enjoy being a part of the community. Which is really annoying, as you don't know anymore than we do and what's been stated by the devs already.

This, I think this accurately represents this thread perfectly. It's not a conspiracy ad revenue earning gigglefest for the staff, It's just exploded as it's the last thread before the release thread. I don't think the staff could have predicted the level of attention it's gotten.

I think you've covered most of it. Other than reworking police pursuit logic for the AI and the pursuit menu.
