  • Let's all take a deep breath and rest assured that we're still committed to releasing 0.4 this month.

  • Just as a heads up, I can't think of much that makes me grumpier than having to hide 24 nonsense posts after working without sleep on 0.4.  Lack of sleep I can deal with; people being idiots not

  • I've been informed we'll have to delay release by one day for each cat that is killed.

Hey I got an idea,  what got you guys into playing LSPDFR?

For me, it was mostly BayareaBuggs on YouTube with his series LCPDFR. I Could never get the mod to work on pc because my computers couldn’t even handle gta 4 so I just watched YouTube on it. Then when I got my gaming desktop first thing I wanted to do was buy gta and download LSPDFR.

That would be Jeff Favignano, love that guy.

Wonder how many and what kind of new callouts we’ll receive.

And also for ex. if you are on duty as a Federal Officer, it would be great if you received federal callouts.

Personal supposition and true analysis

If the publishers of lspdfr want to do like the big publishers the game must leave necessarily a Friday which corresponds to the day of exit of game.
Following this analysis, if he wants to respect their February calendar on the last Friday and February 22, 2019, I remind you that this is only a supposition following the analysis.
But it remains the publishers and can release until February 28 what makes the difference with independent publishers.
In any case a huge thank you for their work.

Not to shit on Jeff or anything, but his intro is a prime example for giving people seizures, which sucks because i used to watch his lspdfr series religiously

Just a pretty girly~

I have a quick question. What are you most excited about in LSPDFR 0.4

I am most excited about the Character animations

Since you guys figured out how to implement a drag and a frisk system into the game, it will be cool to use some other features of the game unfortunately avaliable only in specific missions. I've talked about that pursuit mission where you have to follow a celebrity while being chased by the cops. That cop acually open de car and put the suspect into his car, wich animation can be cut and programmed to play in our specific actions. Also the jewelry heist has an interesting feature at some point, basically you can hit the police cars with a big truck and damage them strong enough to make the unable to work properly. This thing can be used both to improve realism while being a criminal by pushing them off and also to incapacitate the wanted car while crashing into it, especially when it rams into a roadblock filled with cop cars. I think we need to find more interesting scripts that can improve realism by simply picking them from the game's core.

Potentially something that can be done with the 0.4 API as I believe ingame scenarios are going to be easily manipulated through that.
