JKL409 got a reaction from Hadyfaik in Suspects don't shoot at cops after pulling gunsSo I just found a bug with some kind of armed pursuit call-out involving four suspects (I don't think it was an additional call-out pack, as I've searched them all for that call-out.) After chasing the vehicle and bringing the chase to an end two of the suspects pulled out handguns and pointed them at other npc police officers. The cop npcs also pulled out their guns.
However, despite pointing their guns at each other none of them fired any bullets at each other. It was only after I fired a bullet at one that one of them began shooting at me. The others cops didn't engage however. I then had to do the same with the second suspect, who was still stuck with their pistol aimed at another cop.

JKL409 got a reaction from A.P. in Backup and Crime Report KeysInteresting, 🤔. I can't seem to get mine to do anything at all when I press the correct key, so I may have to try this to see if it fixes the problem.

See the supported plugins. LSPDFR+ isn’t a supported mod and I guarantee the reason for your crash.
-
Interaction+ has been updated for 0.4!

JKL409 reacted to PenOkOh in A list of what works and what doesn't with LSPDFR 0.4. Feel free to add.Ultimate Backup's latest version is causing me and some others either crashes or issues yes. So that's probably the thief behind your issues...
Pretty sure LSPDFR+ isn't even updated for 0.4 so that's the reason why mate

JKL409 reacted to Sam in My thoughts on 0.4It isn't compatible for old game versions for the same reason that RPH isn't compatible for old game versions. It isn't some dastardly evil thing that we devised while sitting in a darkened room thinking of creative ways that we could mess with people. It is instead, a simple challenge of technical feasibility. We can't support old game versions because when the game version changes, literally everything about the game from a programming perspective also changes. It is the reason why everything breaks when the game updates. I hope you'll understand that from a technical perspective, LSPDFR is a very complicated piece of work. We do not simply choose not to support old game versions - it is a mere matter of feasibility and take it from me, it's not feasible.
Any problems that you have with a modded installation of the game are absolutely nothing to do with us. We make a mod for Grand Theft Auto V, not your altered beyond recognition copy of Grand Theft Auto V.
Anything else is a bonus.

Not to be rude, but that's why so many people struggle to install mods/plugins. It explicitly states in the Police SmartRadio download that a prerequisite is Traffic Policer. I'm glad you got it working though.

JKL409 got a reaction from ProMotivated in A list of what works and what doesn't with LSPDFR 0.4. Feel free to add.Holy shit! Thank you. I've been trying to solve this problem all day. Kept accidentally knocking out pedestrians and killing them, then having to call an ambulance and coroner, all while feeling like a complete idiot. As the NPCs stood there judging me and taking pictures on there smartphones... 😞

JKL409 reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.4 - Coming February, 2019We do not remove files unless they break the rules. Those files were removed by their authors, not by us.

JKL409 reacted to Cyan in LSPDFR 0.4 - Coming February, 2019Alternatively you could follow us on social media, or just be in an LSPDFR related Discord. I'm sure the moment it's released it will be a fairly obvious affair.

JKL409 reacted to USsecretservice in LSPDFR 0.4 - Coming February, 2019The features page is down by the way:
https://www.lcpdfr.com/lspdfr/features/#
Instead of refreshing the page 1000 times a minute use this website: https://visualping.io/
then you can get an email alert when 0.4 is released.
Or or you could use this page: https://www.lcpdfr.com/discover/
There are other ones out there, or even extensions for chrome, just google Website Update bot. Then when the alarm sounds you’ll know it’s time!
Note: Sorry if this isn’t directly related to 0.4 In the most direct sense possible as required by some, but it will save a lot of people time!

JKL409 reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.4 - Coming February, 2019You misunderstand our reason for not giving a specific date. We're not a professional studio and don't have an army of people to work on this full time day-in, day-out. There's so many different things to prepare and get ready for this release. It's not like we finished 0.4 in January and decided to make everyone wait a month just for fun.

JKL409 reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.4 - Coming February, 2019I've asked that we all do our best to keep this open and the discussion flowing. As long as people aren't taking advantage of this by trolling or being generally disruptive/stupid then there shouldn't be any problems. We know that everyone is excited about 0.4, and that's something that we should be happy about.
All we ask for is that everyone tries to stick to the topic of 0.4 and to keep things nice. No need to troll people with edited screenshots and no need for pages and pages of off-topic arguing. That being said, I don't think there's a problem with a little banter and discussion among members.
Just keep things nice.
