So most of the issues I have I manage to fix with a quick search but I couldn't find anything on this: Somehow, the car shown here below randomly gets a green tint, as far as I know this hasn't happend to any other car, so I thought..it must be the mod, but I found no indication that any texture files are green. Also as you can see here, it only happens once..randomly, these 2 cars are exactly the same with dirt level 4.
 

 
Being able to fix it by spawning a car doesn't make this a huge issue but its just so odd, I'd be curious to know if anyone knows why this happens. I'm running this with VisualV and NaturalVision if that matters.

Its older and doesn't have all the DLC anymore but its closets to GTA IV, it gives cars a real feeling of weight and power.  

You can also edit the vehicles.meta file and change the DirtLevelMax (I think its called this) so the car doesn't get dirty anymore. 

I think you are approaching this too personally. Not everyone can be as tough skinned as you, or have the energy to put up with it. Also, Bejoljo is pretty much the biggest modder on this platform right now, the amount of complaints, nasty private messages, shitty reviews are much more likely to happen to him. 
 
It's obvious he uses modding as an outlet, a hobby, to have fun and make awesome stuff for a community that loves playing LSPDFR. But once that community starts biting back, even just a tiny bit, it takes the fun out of modding quickly. And yeah.. you might say ''fuck those complainers, I don't care''   but not everyone can put up with that especially when its a hobby and not a job. Tons of people struggle with this. 
 
I don't think its fair to compare him to a ''kid not getting his way''. 

Oh I didn't see this, so he is taking a break due to some negative stuff.  I understand, biggest reason modders leave or take a break is due to the constant nagging from users to ''do this/do that''. 
 
Translated from his profile page it comes down to feeling underappreciated and undervalued. Also the fact that brand new users can leave reviews is bothering him, he wishes people only with a good reputation to be able to review. Seen many modders collapse due to this, hopefully he has the energy to still pick things back up, just sad that people can be so demanding and mean when someone is obviously putting his heart and soul into something...for free. 
 
You could get 10 comments about how people love your mod and 1 comment thats negative and you'll forget all about the other positive ones, it sucks.

I know that we're very late to the party when it comes to things like Patreon, so much so that in almost ten years of operating this site we've never actually had a donations or subscriptions service on offer except for a humble, and very much overlooked, PayPal link.  I suppose it's one of those things that we've thought about from time to time but perhaps we've just never quite wanted to pull the trigger on.
 
As noble or whatever as this might seem, though, I think it has also had a couple of unintended consequences.  Not only have we often kept our cards a little too close to our chests, I think that as the community has grown and grown we've lost a certain sense of intimacy that was synonymous with the earlier days of our work for GTA IV.
 
With that being said, our commitment to keeping our work free and available to all is as steadfast as ever.  While we're incredibly grateful to the handful of people who've donated to us over the years for nothing but a little image on their posts in return, we're obviously acutely aware of the much larger chunk of people who likely don't even know that we have a donations link.
 
I think that by moving into the 21st century with this, we'll be able to provide a much better service for those who wish to support our work, and more importantly provide far greater recognition and rewards to those who do.

We have released a minor update for LSPDFR which primarily adds support for the newest version of Grand Theft Auto V, but also introduces a couple of new features and changes that we had originally scheduled for a future update but decided to release with this version:
 
0605 Spanish Ave - a new, fully functional, 'mid-range' apartment in West Vinewood. New settings within the Interaction Menu to change each character's residence. Added compatibility with the latest GTA V update including with the new Rockstar Games Launcher. Some fixes including a potential crash in the reckless driver world event. A minor game-world fix that caused some objects near the Diamond Casino building not to load.  
Please note that LSPDFR 0.4.4 also includes the latest version of the RAGE Plugin Hook.

I'm seriously considering turning my legit copy into a ''not legit'' copy because this new launcher will mean that every little patch or update will completely screw over your modded install. In addition to all the other bullshit its gonna cause. Rockstar might have finally achieved to silently kill modding.

I'm straight up depressed. It's been a really long week at work so far and it's just going to get longer. Just wanted to get in an hour of LSPDFR after work ended at 930PM. Even had some new textures I wanted to try out and was really looking forward to it. 
 
Instead, I get back to this update which breaks my older version (have been running on the pre-Diamond Casino version with 0.4.2 - incredibly stable for me). So, I update GTA5 with the Diamond Casino DLC and now my game perpetually crashes due to some access violation error. Have tried deleting my mods folder and all, and I just can't even get vanilla GTA5 to launch without that crash. Zzzz.
 
Sorry, I know I'm not adding anything constructive to the conversation, but I just needed to vent and I figured you folks would understand, hah. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Some have speculated it's so Rockstar can hide Red Dead behind their garbage launcher.  While that sounds accurate, another possibility is that future GTA titles will be exclusive to their launcher and not be on Steam - or if they are on Steam, require the launcher still.  A third reason, his was another attempt at fucking over modders.  While some people have reported PC issues resulting from this launcher, what it ultimately fucks up is modded GTA.
 
This new launcher was so unnecessary.  There was no need what so ever for it.
 
 
Same.  I was never going to update GTA unless I had to get a new PC, yet here I am, forced to update because cockstar just can't stop screwing people over.

This totally sucks.  I run an older version of GTA5 that was stable with LSPDFR.  I can't launch the older version with this crappy launcher.  Looks like they are forcing us to stay updated.
