I will personally be updating my mods as soon as possible. Until I do so, they most likely will not work with 0.3.

Ragehook released a statement that the new ragehook will 'break previous scripts' in a sense. So I assume .3 will use the new ragehook

Don't mess with the law, if you can't handle the law.

Indeed, plus the LSPDFR API is different.

Yes it will. The idea is to only break a lot of stuff once.

Should we be installing 0.3 on a clean version of GTAV? Should we just go ahead and delete all of our existing mods assuming they'll be updated at a later time?

I'd love for my first patrol in 0.3 to go off without a hitch. Fingers crossed!

The protocol for any issues with multiple mods is to run a clean install of LSPDFR and add mods one by one until you find out what's causing the problem. So yes, run LSPDFR without anything added to it first. Then if that goes well you can start re-installing stuff.

LSPDFR is not necessarily intended to run with other stuff, but the API was made available for the best compatibility we can give.

Same here. A lot of stuff behind the scenes has changed, so Code 3 Callouts, and probably Traffic Control and Keep Calm as well, are going to break.

Like Albo, I will be updating them as soon as possible.

I unfortunately do not have enough free time to answer every PM that I get. For issues with my plugins, please post in the comments section of the file, or it's forum thread. You'll get a much quicker response from me there than if you send me a PM; I do my best to respond to every question in the comments sections. For API/programming questions, please post them in the API Development forum, so all developers can benefit from the answer as well. Thanks!

I think it's better to keep playing 0.2b with all the plugins until all these stuff get updated.

Pretty much.

If you're a geek like me and made an extra copy of a bone dry GTA V (anticipating the new release of 0.3) just play with what works, enjoy it and check back after a day or two to see the progress of updated mods. If you did like me, you can drop 0.3 into a "vanilla" GTA V and play the new system without risking crashing due to unsupported mods/etc.

Cheers gents!

It is expected and normal to see plugins made for 0.2 not working anymore when 0.3 is out.

It is a good thing we get an update to LSPDFR so that we can have a fresh start again. Most of the issues that people are facing come from the discrepancy between the various versions of the mods around, LSPDFR 0.2 was intended for an older version of Rage Hook but we had little choice but to update to one of the newest versions of RHP as modders kept updating their plugins (to different versions of RPH to add to the issue).

I hope that this time modders will stick to the version of Rage LSPDFR was made for...

Keep Calm could use an update too when you've got a chance.... totally appreciate that these things take time. I'd actually forgotten how amazingly necessary Keep Calm is till playing around with 0.3 for a bit lol
