Produce the screenshots!

As this is my first post, I've been playing LCPD:FR for a while and have since been roaming this site, but after seeing these amazing screenshots and how promising LSPD:FR looks I couldn't help but make an account just to say how awesome you guys are! Keep up the great work and thank you again for creating one of the greatest mods I've played for GTA to date. 

P.S. All the screenshots up to this point have been stunning and I can't wait to play!

@Sam, now that it seems you're replying to people in short intervals, does it mean you, and the development team of LSPDFR are waiting for the release of the Rage Plugin Hook so you can release the LSPDFR? Or are you still really hard at coding? OR are you taking a chance to have a break and some proper sleep? :P Just wondering ^.^ PLEEEEASE, tell us something of the LSPDFR, is it in a playable state?

This might make me should like a "You think you know it all"; But when I actually bothered to take a look at the LSPD:FR portion of the site, and saw "RageHook" and did a quick google to find the page. By that time I'd already put two and two together and kinda thought well.... Its going to be coming soon, but how soon; Its never that long after something is released (that you use) it comes out.

It takes a lot of time to produce a trailer for every few features, not to mention the criticism Sam received over the last video.

Screenshots are rather easy to take, and I think they show off the features quite well.

​I reply to this topic quite regularly.  Admittedly I took a break from developing today and put together the screenshots, then went on a killing spree with MichaelV in GTA Online.

I gotta say, this screenshot excites me the most. I can see what appears to be a vehicle selection screen in some underground car park, an LSPD Transport Van to the right, an LSPD Stanier to the left and an officer seemingly taking a suspect out of it. It's so new, fresh looking, so smooth looking!

​Yeah, unfortunately they wouldn't be perfect without LSPDFR. 

Am wondering will you be able to customize police cars now I know the game doesn't let you but when I have LSPDFR will it able to do so?

​Exactly. It won't be like these screens because they are actually from LSPDFR, so your effort to recreate the screenshots is in vain and pointless. It doesn't prove anything, other than your ability to waste time on useless shit.

 

Thank you, Sam and thank you LMS(!). It's been really nice to be on this journey with you and the team and it's exciting seeing your new baby come closer to release as the days pass.

 

Who would have thought in 2009, that your small police mod, would eventually turn into something of this size, almost 6 years after the LCPDFR "brand" was born. Considering myself one of your friends, as someone that looks up to you, and a former moderator of this site still fills my heart of pride and joy.

​I think you just proved yourself wrong. Just wait and see sir, you will be able to get your hands on it soon and then all your doubts should be gone. For now, don't be disrespectful against the developers who put their heart and soul into this development project with comments such as that.

​That doesn't mean anything since GTA 4 also had controller support yet it took a long time for LCPDFR to get it.

​I'm just asking. -_- Why not post a video of the gameplay rather than screenshots that can be made in the editor. :P I'm not doubting the makers of the mod, it'd just be nice to see something you can't make yourself in the editor. :P

They don't have to prove anything to you. These trolling statements are exactly why they don't release stuff more often. Sit down and be quiet like the rest of us.

 

A question for Sam....

Firstly, great work and much appreciated for what you are doing for the gaming community :)

Secondly, as you are coding this mod, do you enjoy coding more or playing one you have finished? I know when i coded an addon for FSX it gave me even more pleasure than actually using FSX! Is that weird??

Any rate, your efforts are greatly appreciated and i can see many hours of enjoyment coming form your sacrifice!

​It's very likely to happen either in the initial release or shortly after as we can re-use most of the controller code from LCPDFR.
