LSPD First Response 0.1 Beta
Everything started up just fine but as soon as i spawned in my cop car red blips kept spawning on the map and i ended up having a 10 minute firefight with infinitely spawning enemies edit : it's because at this point in my storyline michael and trevor cant go back to the city because some guy wants them dead. might want to look into that.

I've been passing the past few days by watching Cops XD I don't mind waiting but it seems pretty obvious they knew they were gonna release close to midnight and i just wish they said that in advance so i wouldnt have been spending the last 14 hours refreshing every 15 minutes

Please consider an option to have lights on without siren (like we already have in lcpdfr) but without AI cars moving out of your way, if i want cars to get out of my way i'll just put on the siren. I don't know how hard this is to program but i can't imagine it being too hard. Can't wait for the trailer. edit : maybe if some people don't want this it could be an option in the game config file or configuration tool , i really like the configurability of lcpdfr

Well yes that's what i meant , obviously you wont go into car chases with a bike but you can do the stuff you would normally do on a foot patrol

I'm obviously not talking about the initial release but are there any plans for bicycle cops and/ or K-9 units? GTA 5 has bikes and dogs. Bike mounted cops should be possible without any modding (just get on a bike) but K-9 would need to be actively put in. Would love to see it eventually

I'm just daydreaming out loud here but imagine having the cop as 4th character on the character wheel and selecting it activaes lcpdfr. That would be sick. I havent played gta 5 since console launch+7d so i dont know if in the PC version that 4th spot is reserved for something or not , but one can dream! A personalised saved cop with a personalized saved cop car.... wow just thinking about it gets me excited. Now i just have to wait and get shot down by someone who says it's impossible. Also i really hope for (eventual) good controller support , i really prefer playing gta with my controller. LCPDFR 1.1 is pretty good with a controller but that's just barebones with no other mods , i imagine once you get some other gameplay enhancing mods in addition you practically need one hand on the keyboard at all times anyway.

That doesn't mean anything since GTA 4 also had controller support yet it took a long time for LCPDFR to get it.

Greetings. I'm very much looking forward to LSPDFR , i am holding off buying GTA5 untill a version (be it release or beta) of LSPDFR is out. I do however have 1 question that isn't exacly about LSPDFR but GTA5's AI. You know how , in GTA 4 , if you stood still in a vehicle for a set amount of time (10 sec? +/- ) pedestrians would think you're parked and try to drive past you , often breaking the law or damaging property in doing so. So my question is , does this also happen in GTA 5 ? Thanks, and good luck with the mod , will keep a close eye on updates.

What do you want to see more of in LCPDFR?
Like the guy 2 posts above said , more radio chatter OR a radio (as in , music radio) in cop cars, its gets lonely out on patrol. Other then that i really have nothing more to say , this is a very very good mod that doesnt need anything more , but if i could request one thing (and i dont even know if this is possible at all) : Could the pathfinding for AI be changed when you pull them over, i am sick of the road beiing completely jammed every time i perform a traffic stop. I would rather have them crash into dumpsters or news stands to be honest. Thats the only thing that i can think of that isnt perfect , other then that its a great mod good job :)
