  • A trailer showcasing animations doesn't make for very good viewing, especially not for a first reveal.  Was it a normal cop chase?  No, every entity involved in the pursuit except the player was spaw

Yup, seems legit.

If you mean, that the LSFD would respond to the player as backup, say to put out a fire, of heal someone that would be similar to LCPDFR, and should work I guess. But if you mean for you to be able to play as a fire fighter or EMT, I'm pretty sure that would have to be a separate mod.

I think he meant play as them in actually be them for future role play.

I really hope we get to customise our officers, the different options available in GTA V look great! I'm also wondering how effective paramedics will be, if changed at all. Can paramedics be made take bodies away, even if it is teleporting the bodies away (presumably to the ambulance, or leading the player to believe so) after the paramedics announce they are DoA and finish the small report? Will there also be a way of blocking off areas, with cones, barriers etc? I'm not sure and I'm probably wrong, but I keep remembering crime scene tape being in the game

1. Of course you can customize them. You can already use a trainer to swap your meshes around.

2. I'm sure a more realistic paramedic script will come out within time. It shouldn't be hard at all.

3. I don't ever remember seeing crime scene tape as a prop, but for cones and barriers, all we need is something to spawn them.

Anyone else feel as if they comment & its like a ghost fart, sorry its getting weird with my comments being somewhat ignored :P (but I don't care)

+RDWAIFU, I agree NPC cops call EMT Ambulances often after shooting a criminal led & call paramedics after it. But hauling them into the truck would be a bit hard, but I'm fine with the old GTA where the revived the guy, but not 100% of the time but if a suspect/injured NPC was not dead the paramedics could help with that.

I don't mean the paramedic actually picking up the body, but maybe the body just evaporating and leading you to believe it's in the ambulance, better than bodies cluttering the streets. Although, if the paramedics dragged the bodies similar to how cops drag injured cops and civilians, he could at least drag the body to the back of the ambulance then have it disappear

Is there a mod that allows me to directly change the small details on my ped, or trainer that does exactly this? By details I mean gun in holster, rank patch etc... If there is a link would be much appreciated.  I hate constantly randomising my model until I get a decent one

I remember now that crime scene tape only shows up on doorways after certain missions, like Lester's warehouse after he burns it down, or Floyd's apartment when Trevor kills them both.

Here's the trainer for ya'. https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/pc-trainer-v

I believe the CS tape is set as a variation to the doors itself. I don't think it has its own prop.

No worries bud, I can assure you your comments are not being ignored. I personally read every comment on topics that I find interesting (such as this one). There's just so many folks commenting on this topic that I can't respond to all of them without blowing the thread up, and I'd rather not do that. I try to only respond when I feel as though it may be of some significance. In this case I'm just letting you know we hear ya

A ghost's fart? That's a nice metaphor indeed.

I don't know whether bringing back the GTA IV injure system is at least possible... GTA Wiki still says if paramedics got there in time they still can save a ped, but I never saw it.

However, a million years ago when LukeD was a dinosaur Abraxas made a coroner mod for GTA IV to deal with dead bodies. Coroners arrived, examined the bodies, then the bodies disappeared and body bags spawned in their place, and then those bags were teleported inside of the coroner's van. Looked pretty neat. We definitely could use a mod like this in GTA V.

And considering we now have non-emergency amber lights, coroner's van will have them too!

Yeah, good old Abraxas. First he gave us the towservice mod and then the coroner. Just epic.

It's too bad he's gone...I really was hoping somebody would continue his work and update one of the vdH scripts, he had an unreleased beta of his policehelper that only some people have. It would of been awesome to see a policehelper in GTAV, alongside LSPDFR.

Well i know alot of people on here that do great jobs modding and scripting and i can think of another who is climbing the "greats" ladder in scripting and that would be Finkone maybe he will be able to fill the shoes of the great Abraxas over time as i know Finkone is still learning but if you look at what he has done already in such a short time on lcpdfr i believe this guys is more than capable of achieving these kind of scripts in gta5.

I would greatly appreciate if he worked on any of abraxas's scripts or made something similar. But besides that, his scripts that he is making now are great. Once LSPDFR is released i'm sure he'll start releasing stuff alongside it. Pretty sure he browses this thread, Finkone we'll be looking forward to whatever it is you make this time.

Back on topic, though: I'm sure an API will be released with LSPDFR eventually correct? (Directed towards any of the devs), in LCPDFR this kind of turned out small and not many callouts were made on the api but I'd hope more would with V, either way I would hope there's a good amount of callouts and events in store regardless with it's initial release :P

Only time will tell.

What happened to him? did he just go quiet some time ago?

To apply some emphasis on this, it's worth noting the issue where the bans lie apparently come from the fact GTA:O can't tell the difference between what might be intended for single-player loading only, all it sees is the .dll injection stuff and basically goes "Well this doesn't pass integrity".

TL;DR: Before playing GTA:O make sure you remove all mod files from the GTA:V directories.

Man I can't wait to see more. I've never really been involved in LCPDFR community, but I loved the work done with the mod.
I used to play it quite a lot in around 2010, then came back in 2014 only to found a even more advanced mod.

GTAV is here, and I can't wait to see what you guys are hiding from us.

The same guy from GTAForums.
