Usually when creating an account for some sort of software or program, you're required to accept and agree to certain guidelines. Sometimes you may sit there and go through all 50 pages, sometimes you may just hit "I have read the terms of service". Do you actually read the entire terms of service?

I don't. Just a poll for people who are a bit curious as to whether or not others read the ToS or not. Just me trying to actively participate in the forum! :) Plus usually the ToS is about 15 pages long. I personally don't know anyone that reads it.

No, I have never ever read the terms of service as to me it is a bunch of legal garbage and I have better things than to try to read and understand all of their legal terms.

as no one I know ever reads the terms and service as they probably think like me that it is a waste of time trying to figure out their legal terms and would rather do better things than be stuck trying to understand all of their legalism(meaning a bunch of terms written by lawyers that no one else knows or maybe understands except lawyers who write the garbage lol   )

My plugins by me are on this site in addition to my own site as well.

It's one of those questions that no one asks

Although i have always wondered if others read these or not, Now i know haha

reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Yep.

Let me tell you a story: several years ago GameStation company pulled a joke on users by adding "I hereby sell my eternal soul to the Company".

we reserve the right to serve such notice in 6 (six) foot high letters of fire, however we can accept no liability for any loss or damage caused by such an act. If you a) do not believe you have an immortal soul, b) have already given it to another party, or c) do not wish to grant Us such a license, please click the link below to nullify this sub-clause and proceed with your transaction

Those who refused to accept the agreement got a five pounds voucher, however almost everyone didn't notice this clause. So from that moment I do read all the agreements! :D

Why would I read 14 friggin pages of stretched, complicated stuff? If they'd write it completely normal, everyone could understand everything. :'D

Nope, never. And I've never heard of anyone that does either. If I buy a piece of software, I already know what I'm getting into. I am either familiar with the company/developer, or if there is some crazy thing in the ToS, then you know damn well that the Internet would have a big hissy fit over it. Besides, I already paid for it. Not accepting the ToS would be idiotic at this point.

Dude of coarse I don't read them, I think the terms of service is just a waste of time and stupid. I'm not bagging on anyone who takes their time to read them, but it's a waste of time reading that nonsense.
