Since we are nearing the release of LSPDFR and there has been chatter about a few of these things on here since GTA V came out, I figured a proper poll was in order.

R* could make a deal with G17 Media here to make an LSPDFR dlc.  I personally wouldn't mind paying for a mod, it would provide direct support to the community, and R* could take a percent of the profit so it is worth their time to do very little in respect to our very little community.
It would be a separate game mode where you can get a uniform, standard issue weapons, and vehicle of your choice from the station.  Then patrol with the same if not more functionality than we have with GTA IV.
I know this probably won't happen, but a guy can dream right?

I don't see honesty as ignorance, I live literally 5 minutes from the largest black community in Canada & I HAVE to deal with them on a regular basis, 99% of the time when they call for a tow they try & under cut us, expect us to haul their junk for almost nothing, a car they call in a flat tire? is literally upside down in a ditch WITH a flat tire.. 90% of them are on welfare, which I pay for.. every coloured person I've dealt with has an attitude towards white people, whether I've done anything to them or not, when I used to ride transit I remember over hearing a group of black ladies cussing out white people, calling us names & our "privileges" yet, if I were to had said something to them, I would have been a racist & probably would have had a riot outside my house..
Black people are the ones with the problem, I don't personally have a problem with anyone of colour, but professionally, they're hard on the head, cause more hassle then it's worth, I was supposed to go do a simple tow for a guys girlfriend, I got out there & the car was in the ditch, I told them the price changed & a truck load of them showed up & gave me a hard time, the driver of the vehicle was drunk & crashed her car & panicked & chucked the keys, I looked down as I was surrounded by 5 of them & there they were on the windshield, I REFUSE to go up to that community at anytime after dark now so yep, guess white people are the racist ones with the problem, yep..
 

I agree with most of what you said, but I wanted to bring my two cents on this part of your post in particular, because I do believe Germany is not an example. A lot of people in Germany are rather racist with a feeling of superiority over others. And as a reminder, it's in Germany (along with Austria) that the first marches anti-islam started in Europe. Also, in Europe we don't use African-X or Caucasian-X, mostly because we say black, arab, asian (arabs being the main target in Europe due to our proximity with Maghreb and our past history with this area of Africa). Believe me, Germany (or any country in Europe) is not any less racist than others. We are just a bit more respectful when it comes to differences.
 
Ehm... Nope. That's not the reason why countries around the world are criticizing the US. There are plenty of more important reasons to do that, racism or police are clearly not the main issue other countries have with the US.
 
I believe people think the justice system is biased (which might be true, or not be true, no one will never know), but considering there has been quite a lot of miscarriage of justice in the past, and considering the saying "To err is human", people are free to believe that justice made a mistake there. Not saying that's the case, but it's not that illogical.
 
+1 on that. This, is one of the main reasons why racism and communautarism exists, no matter the country, area or ethnicy involved. I remember in France, 50 years ago, immigrants were craving to act like a french family, to feel french, speak french properly, they wanted to be an examplar citizen of the country. Today they stick to their way of life, barely bother speaking french nor speak french between themselves, don't respect the values, laws and rules of the country and are almost forcing their own into other people's throats. Mentality has changed. And I believe it is a a similar case in the US. By acting that way, they force people to live in small communities and groups instead of living all together: communautarism, which leads to hatred and racism between the different communities.

I was in the RCMP for about a year and it is in my experience that clans can be great if you block out the childish focus on unimportant things like ranks.  I have made a lot of friends in that community and a few whom I almost consider family now.  Along with Gunner 9213, I would agree that having real-life backup instead of AI is the coolest thing ever and you can get into some great roleplay when you have twenty some members in a game.  It's definitely something you need to try but it's not for everybody.  Do make sure that you research the priorities (i.e. member activity, realism, professionalism, relaxation) of each community you are considering to see if they coincide with what you want and give it a solid effort before deciding to stay or leave (I suggest 3 months).
 
That being said I am no longer in the RCMP and my fellow ex-RCMP friends and I are wanting to create a small group to play.  So if the clan doesn't work out for you feel free to pm me.
 
One last thing,  unless you are willing to dedicate 40+ hours a week to developing and managing a community in addition to recruiting about 20 people to start it with you, the chances will be significantly low you will reach any kind of success especially at this point in GTA IV's life. 

Clans are a magnet for pointless drama, I'd avoid them at all costs.

The instability in society, the rioting, is mainly over questioning use of force in Police Procedure in the wake of Missouri v. Darren Wilson. Yes, you see and post these militarized photos, but given the circumstances, I see them as acceptable, not preferable, but acceptable. 
 
What about the drugs on the streets? Mob mentality destruction? Illegal firearm murders? Increase in Police Deaths? Public Support of Law Enforcement and Government in general Dropping? High School Dropouts, incarcerations, I can go on. These are the problems that's leading cops to become more paranoid for their lives. 
 
This instability is what makes officers scared, and on edge, and more likely to do something you'd consider to be a "Bad Apple". You see Assault Rifles, you see Ferguson Police Department's Racist Report from the Attorney General, it's easy to name police as the problem, but the reality is it's just not the problem. It's a result of a real problem. 
 
It's tough being a police officer in recent years, especially policing certain demographics. I know I'm not a cop, but if I was I would certainly change the way I interact with the general public, especially among certain groups for my own safety within past years. 
 
Recently, police officers are seeing fewer employment, and for good reason, the pay is no where near fair for the job. I salute the cops that stay in Ferguson, that takes real honor and courage. 
 
Cut them a break, they're doing their best.

I was never spanked as a child and I don't think I could spank any children I might have in the future.  I think this is something that should be handled within the household and not government.  Every child is different in the sense that some may respond positively to being spanked and some may respond negatively to continue the inappropriate act later on in their life.  
 
Basically I think it shouldn't be handled by the government unless the punishment (in extreme cases) becomes abuse.  Lets the parents do their job how they find fit.

The European Council, after the demand of a british non-governmental organization looking over childhood protection, should symbolically condemn France, because there wouldn't be enough protection regarding the law about punishment towards children. The british NGO is blaming french laws to not banish completely physical punishments on our children. And according to the newspaper Le Monde, which was able to consult the decision that will be publicly released in two days, France is about to get slapped on the wrist.
 
Everything started with the association for children protection called Approach, which is saying France breaks an article of the European Social Convention regarding the "lack of explicit and effective interdiction of all physical punishments towards children". This complaint was judged receivable in July by the European Commitee of social rights of the European Council, paneuropean organization intended for promoting dialogue on democracy and human rights. However, according to the revealed decision by Le Monde, Approach association has been succesful: French laws "do not provide enough defined, specified, binding interdiction about physical punishments".
 
The European Council encourages all the States members to banish physical punishments towards children since a couple years. As of now, 27 of the 47 countries members of the organization adopted a legislation towards this, the first being Sweden, model student since 1979 and cantor of the "positive parenting", which promotes an education without physical punishments of any kind. But other european countries, including France, only banished partially those punishments, like in school or in prison. Children abuses are obviously condemned, but as of now, nothing stops french parents to use the spank as a way to discipline their children.
 
 
 
 
As a french and european citizen, I have several problems with such things. First, I consider spanking as a natural way to educate a child. It's harmless, and it allows parents to keep the threat of a real punishment to keep the kids calm and force them to behave correctly, as well as allowing parents to teach them what is wrong from what is good when they do something bad. In a few words, it's just parenting. Second, I start to get sick of how Europe is getting into everyone's personal affairs, telling everyone how to act and how to think. And third, I don't understand how some people can really bother themselves about spanking, when kids are starving and dying all over the world. What's the most important, a kid getting a spank now and then when they are acting like little devils, or a kid starving to death, molested or abused?
 
The more we go forward in time and the more I feel like the world is losing the sense of priorities.

I've been thinking about a new idea for gameplay immersion: After selecting your character, you could spawn in the partner selection room and receive a few lines of random text simulating a briefing, like 'be on the lookout for a stolen Blue Landstalker, license plate xxx xxxx' or 'Recent unrest means that patrols in xxxx area must receive backup ASAP' etc. What i was thinking was that this script could use the .API features of 1.0d to keep track of notifications like stolen cars, so that you have a chance to encounter them during gameplay.

YES! that would be awesome. i'm down for any kind of new script to be honest. we need some new crimes like an abduction or defacing property. i did arrest a guy spray painting a window yesterday...it wasnt a call but just a random guy i walked up on :D

I´d like to see some kind of minigame, when you would have the option to tackle the suspect down, but he would resist to put his hand behind his back, and in that moment the minigame (something like pressing Y/N) would appear on the
screen, on you would have to press the action button as quickly as possible to cuff the guy ... some of guys would be stronger than others, so you would request a help of another officer, officer would help you in that way that it would be more easy to cuff him then ... I´m just thinking, I doubt it´s possible to do something like that :D

What I did to make my siren work for the controller again was disable the Siren Tones that you were able to manually trigger by pressing the numbers 1-4 (above QWERTY). In the ELS.ini, I disabled those by setting them to 0.
