So, now that LCPDFR 1.0d has been released, I'm really keen to hear about everyone's experiences of it.  For 1.0d, one of the things I did was slowly work my way through the hundreds of topics in the suggestions forum, trying to figure out what you really wanted to see.  Of course, multiple partners seemed to top the list, so we've worked really hard to add them in - no small feat considering we only started work on that last month.

 

With that being said, please use this topic to post any stories, screenshots or feedback you might have regarding 1.0d.  Please do not post support requests here (installation, crashes, etc.).  Asking for support regarding gameplay/new features (e.g. how do I get my partner to follow me in a car) is fine.

How do i get my partner to follow me in his own car/ :D

Aim at the car you want them to follow you in and then hold down Caps Lock to bring up the QAM.  Switch to the Partner category by using Tab a few times.  If your partner is close enough to the car, you'll see an option to have them follow you in it.

Well, I ran into this. Then I crashed.

Great job on the two partners into two different vehicles! The only thing I have to say is, gosh the AI is bad at driving, tailgating like crazy!

Also, awesome thing that the siren and ELS lights work on both vehicles (need to be on the "express" mode of ELS though, the one you press G to light everything up)

How do you arrest suspects in the water? 

I found that when an injured pedestrian approaches you (from the Police Helper) asking for help, if you go to take them yourself and you have a police partner, the partner and injured civilian will battle over the front seat a few times before one of them giving up and sitting in the back. Everything else appears to be fine.  

Sucks that you can't get ID/Frisk cuffed suspects still. I love the new QAM menu though. Ambulances still drive like idiots but thats just GTA, right? :P

 

Also, how do you delete an autosave with LCPDFR? I can't play right now because everytime i launch my game it teleports me to my last saved position with LCPDFR, on duty and I don't want it to. I'm fine with going back on duty from my safehouse, I've even reinstalled LCPDFR...

I believe you would delete a savegame by deleting "Savegame.fr" in your root GTA IV folder, for future reference.

I think you guys should check out your Diagnostics tool that comes with 1.0d, i don't know about anyone else but when i use it to change some settings it gets really buggy (the boxes just disappear when you hover your cursor over it). advanced settings and account settings are fine.. however both the general settings sections have problems. 

Never had a big problem with LCPDFR crashing....I installed 1.0d and  I just played for an hour and 15 minutes with no crashing at all! That was also with ELS V8, Wouters callout's and alot scripts!

This is a false positive from your anti-virus program. You'll either need to disable that temporarily or install LCPDFR manually.

GTA4 hasn't worked for whatever reason in the past months. I installed LCPDFR 1.0d... and... works friggin fine now!

But I can't give the partners orders, I don't understand the QAM. When I hover over the "Arrest", "Hold at gunpoint" or "Deploy taser" option and release capslock, nothing happens. :/ My disrespectful partners don't listen to me. :(
