  1. Yeah so BetterBackup will only work for PR spawned B units. Hold down B, call the unit from the menu. I'm not sure if BlueLine spawns PR managed units or it's own, but BetterBackup only is watching as soon as you press B 99% of the time for a period of time, and there is a very explicit check for any other spawned PR unit if it's a tow or PT (which explains why tow and PT specifically worked for you). You said it didn't work for other units requested via B, can you send me your ragepluginhook in a PM? Request some units via the B menu, put the log it in a paste bin and PM it to me :) Thanks
  2. Thanks for pointing both of these out. Will fix it up! So when you request tows and PTs, BetterBackup does prompt you? Would love to see your RagePluginHook log. I'm not sure what BLR is. Are you requesting units via the B menu? A radius option was actually thought about. I'm not sure why I didn't implement it. Certainly could look at it. Are you talking about the distance where H becomes available? Or the distance to when they warp automatically to face the heading? Maybe both? Screw it, I'll look at both. I'll release it soon. PR/CDF framework do add these features in, but it's more strictly visual observation then what StopThePed does with the notifications. It should be pretty easy to look at what PR attaches to the ped (drunk? high? etc) and make another mod that indicates this like StopThePed does. I wouldn't want to step on PR's toes though. PR is still being developed purely judging by the last release date, so I wouldn't want to duplicate here.
  3. I think I need to see this in play. Whenever I request a vehicle, each unit has it's own BetterBackup point that you can mark. Are you requesting them in succession rapidly? Maybe that's causing it? As that would certainly spawn two BetterBackup prompts at once... Potentially I could add another keybind to have the vehicle park behind the last managed vehicle (whether it was parked behind your police car or otherwise). Regardless of the response code selected. I would be wary of this though, it certainly could do the same thing as parking behind your crusier except it parks behind the last requested backup unit, but this would mean that not only are we tracking and storing your vehicle, but every other BetterBackup managed unit until dismissal. I'm wary of memory/CPU issues, where BetterBackup already does a lot of tracking etc. All your other points unfortunately relate to the core design of PR, which BetterBackup is not able to directly change.
  4. I've checked out the xml and figured out how it works. I've worked on how BetterBackup detects units to ensure custom units etc can also be detected. The mod now also reads from the xml so that it actually names the unit in the RPH notifications. Can you download the new version, replace over the top in your Plugins\LSPDFR folder and let me know how you go? Thanks for PMing me! I've replied to you, hopefully a simple fix!
  5. Hey, can you PM me? Maybe chuck your RPH log in a pastebin? Keen to see what's going on. Thanks!

MADE FOR - POLICINGREDEFINED. Sick of the destruction derby when calling for an Ambulance, Fire trucks, tow trucks or even just code 1 backup? BetterBackup solves this by allowing players the option to mark where they would like their backup to spawn at. Features: Works for all types of back up options, except for (on purpose): Pursuit backup Traffic stop backup Options to specifically have a backup vehicle respond to a marked area (stand in the area and face the direction you want the backup to go to, nose out), OR have the backup vehicle park behind your crusier Smooth natural drive up handled by PolicingRedefined, getting as close as possible before a quick warp to the location Option to force the spawn/warp of the backup unit if it looks like they are stuck (unit must already be within a certain distance to you before it will allow you to force warp it) Customisable ini keys How it works: Players provided an option to designate the enroute back up unit a parking spot. A marker will follow the player, and the marker initially generates outwards to where the player is facing (i.e. where the player is facing is where the nose will go) The waypoint can be moved by walking the player to where you want it to go, and by using NumPad4 and 6 (changeable) to rotate (where the nose points) Players are also provided an option as above to have the enroute unit park behind your last entered emergency vehicle (note, only one can park behind at a time) BetterBackup then kills the routing tasks provided by PolicingRedefined when within a certain range and redirects the enroute units to where you want it to go Within a certain distance, the vehicle will then warp to it's parking spot with the nose pointing where you set it to. The warp is designed to be as close as possible so that it doesn't look choppy. Units are then handed back over to PolicingRedefined to exit the vehicle and complete tasks, until you dismiss them via PolicingRedefined like normal. When the unit is responding, you can press "E" (customisable) to cancel BetterBackup and just let the unit respond as per normal through PolicingRedefined. Works with all requestable units including prisoner transports. Is disabled for pursuit and traffic stop backup. Note - this does not manage the units once they are dismissed. Expect a destruction derby once dismissed. Next update might manage the departure? Showcase 1 - ambulance and police respond in a car park Showcase 2 - coroner and prisoner transports Showcase 3 - ambulance and police told to park opposite traffic on a tight street For support, bugs etc - please message me through this website. I tend not to use Discord. Please ensure you link to your RPH log for your session. GitHub open source (note, the reference DLLs have been removed) - CstBlake/BetterBackup: Source files for BetterBackup If you have improvements etc, would love to hear. Install instructions: Place the INI and the DLL into the GTA V\LSPDFR\Plugins folder.
  6. Hi all, hope someone sees this... Decided to re-try GTA IV, and I've also tried looking at making my own callouts... Whenever I try to compile though, it errors that the LCPD First Response.dll has an invalid public key? All my research shows that there is something wrong with the DLL, that it isn't signed properly or something similar. The same issue occured when I tried to compile the API example. I've made sure to get .net 4.5 targeting working in VS Community 2022, etc. I've tried the API example, I've also tried the API example in the public LCPDFR github page (https://github.com/LMSDev/lcpdfr_public) to no avail. Anyone have any idea? Thanks.
  7. LARU = low acuity response unit. got a stubbed toe? these guys will come out if at all possible. pronounced laroo HARU = trauma truck. carries blood, adv drugs. onboard ccp's and occasionally a doc i think (when i say its a truck its just a santa fe i think, might be one of the new isuzus). pronounced har-roo LARU do sometimes carry mental health clinicians onboard now especially if they're going to someone with flags/records of such.
Before looking at the uniform, I didn't expect much beyond a good first whack at the uniform which seems to be an overly common release with these types of uniforms, but I was wrong about this one, in a warm way if that makes sense? Your attention to detail is amazing, even on the rank epaulet and a hat to match! Easy customization with this texture, change your ranks to suit your needs. The only thing I'm not happy about is the name badge, but hey. shit happens. easy fix I would think. Maybe consider making the pants a bit less vibrant as well, if that makes sense? Picture attached. The color is there, it's just a little to on the eyes. Hard to explain. Either way, very nice job. I think this might become my usual NSWPF uniform given how easy it is.
  8. make a new folder, like in the other versions of lspdfr
  9. Didn't wanna edit my review in response to the updates and etc, your more than welcome for the feedback, thanks for listening and fixing those issues. I have yet to have a look at the API my self, nore can I find it. Do you know where I can find it? I had made bits and bobs previous to 0.4, why not give it a shot again.
some sort of tl;dr at the bottom at the bottom I am not bagging on you, or your mod. Kudos for getting something out quickly. Being the first call out pack out for LSPDFR 0.4, and having these kinds of call outs is impressive, but I feel like this was just a race to see who could get a pack out first. My main concerns are the level of detail within the call outs themselves, specifically the domestic disturbance ones. I only experienced this call twice, and in those times I experienced these outcomes: - Police were unnecessary in this call, once police were on scene and said one sentence which basically said grow up, they dispersed - More importantly, one guy fled from the scene and I failed to start a pursuit by holding B and reporting it, yet a backup unit arrived anyway and assisted in the foot pursuit so I assumed that it was part of this script. It would be really nice to be able to report them and make an actual LSPDFR pursuit happen The rest of the calls are just extensions to the stock LSPDFR call outs, being just pursuits. While pursuits are a lot more enjoyable in 0.4, there isn't much else except for arresting them. Maybe another call out could be that the FIB or similar agency are in a tracking pursuit (following the criminal) and would like you to assist as the main policing component, to which you then have control over that pursuit using LSPDFR native functions (such as the pursuit options in the N menu), allowing the player to either turn the pursuit into a full pursuit or continue tracking the criminal to a certain location, and once the criminal is nearing said location, turn it into a full pursuit and descend all the units onto the said criminal. TL;DR I feel that there would of been, and still is, a race to get all the call out packs and things compatible with 0.4, which according to this post, makes me think it's not going to be very difficult. Only one call out isn't a pursuit call out, and that it's self isn't very detailed. Being the first call out pack out there, I'd like to think there will be a lot more development on this, and that this release was more of a proof of concept, hey I'm here sort of thing.

This siren is primarily used by the Ambulance Service in Queensland, Australia. It contains a yelp and a wail. Please, dear god, read the readme before installing this modification. I will not provide support should your game break. I'm aware that it sounds a little weird in parts, especially the apex of the wail, but there is not much that I can do to mitigate that. That issue was created when I amplified the siren so it could be heard in game. Siren Showcase (ignore the skin on the vehicle) Further updates may be made to the siren, but it is unlikely.
  10. From what I've seen, you have done a fantastic job. Is there any way you may be able to configure it for the num pad, caps and scroll lock lights? That way us plebs can be cool too! :)
  11. as far as im concerned, it has not been updated. open iv is still being updated and imo is 10 times better than spark iv. remember to back up
  12. Hi, I seem to be continuing to have this issue, non stop. I've tried reinstalling so many times, it's not even funny. Legit copy of GTA V Steam, proof can be provided. Installed vcredist and the directx setups provided by the installation Completely vanilla, no mods at all. Log file: Edit: If it may help, heres a picture of my install:
  13. A little insight into this file: Stapleton county is from an MMO/RPG game called ROBLOX, where you can make groups and things. Stapleton county was one of them. ---------- i have nothing to do with this texture, just thought some background would be nice.
  14. Right click on GTAIV.exe, go to properties, file details check to see what version it says. Are you using the exe or the msi in the zip file the download provides?
  15. That can't be the entire log file. Please run the game with administrator again to get a fresh log, and paste the whole log in a spoiler (the eye thing at the top)
  16. Are you running a pirated copy? Did you download the legitimate patch update from R*? Is this steam or disk?
  17. Dunno, but I'm not huge fan of the new change!!!!
