Well, it took me 20+ minutes to get my pre load off 99%. The game looks great although last night it wouldn't let me play online hopefully today I'll be able to.

Probably, but I'd advise against it, and only do it if nothing else is plugged into that power strip. The extension cord is likely not rated to supply however many ports are on the power strip, and chaining together things that each increase the number of power outlets increases the risk of plugging too many things in, which is definitely a fire hazard. From what I can tell, the Alienware 18 adapter is 330 watts, which is more than most devices; many cheap extension cords aren't great to use long-term with that kind of load, and plugging more into the power strip (which is likely to be tempting) takes it to "definitely a bad idea."

Some of this depends on how far it'll have to stretch and what kind of extension cord it is. It also might be better to plug the computer into the extension cord, and plug that into the power strip.

As a general rule of thumb, you should never plug a port-multiplying device into another port-multiplying device; it's too easy to accidentally overload something when doing that. Port-multiplying devices should really go straight into the wall, especially if you plan on using this long-term.

This thread is a year old but..
Go to your GTA IV folder, go to the LCPDFR folder, click on the diagnosis tool, choose advanced mode, check installation and go to your GTA IV location when it pops up, if it doesn't pop up it is installed correctly there will be a half bar, click it and download and install whatever it tells you to install then refresh the tool till everything is green, if that still doesn't work uninstall it then download the manual install of LCPDFR :D

I can't sign in on Xbox One, Just got GTA 5 today guess I won't get the exclusive holiday gift. All my friends can play fine but I just simply can't log in it always tells me to try again later :(

This is very tragic, but to be expected. Hate to be so blunt with it, but if you don't have tough skin the internet is not a good place for you to be. I've been told to kill myself, hang myself, "I'm outside your house", "I'm raping your mother"... Anything you can think of I've been told several times, some on this forum lol.
 
It's sad that things like this happen, but you can't take everything to heart. Be proud of who you are and what you've done, even if you've had some bad past experiences. Nobody's perfect, and people seem to forget that all the time. All you can do is your best, and live life to the fullest :).

        I have been recently messing around with my GTA IV alot lately, and have been active on lcpdfr.com and i noticed i havent uploaded any cool packs or skins in a long time. I have been heavly working on my pittsburgh mod, and trying to prepare my pc for gta V. But i figured sense i dont model cars i can make someone a skin pack for the holidays that they have always wanted to see, or wanted for there game. Feel free to post your ideas of what you wanna see or what you have in mind. I will pick someone and make your skin pack and try to have it done by christmas. You will have to select your cars and tell me links where i can get the templates and if your picked i will make you a high quality skin pack. If interested reply to this post.
