  • Everyone seems to like the Driver SF model more but I strongly prefer Bug's. Bug's model is much more higher quality, inside and out. Everything from the wheels, windows, and lighting on Bug's is far

The first few Driver San Francisco models were garbage and I hated them. It wasn't until people such as Cj24 took the model and overhauled the shit out of it when I started liking them. The DSF models

What are the major differences between the models? If any one could post a gallery showcasing the differences that would be good.

I currently use the Schaefft/BXBugs derived model, simply because 99% of my liveries are made for its template.

Cheers.

DSF looks to be the most realistic. The main difference is the fact that many textures are for Bxbugs CVPI, like Delaware State Police. But some other were created for DSF like Vermont State Police.

It's not easy to reedit skin from Bxbugs model into DSF. That's why I made my own Pennsylvania State Patrol pack for DSF especially.

Ringo, thanks for posting this wire mesh comparison. The D:SF version is considerably larger than the former two.

Could you perhaps steer me to any galleries that feature both models in the same photos?

Cheers.

Truth be told, the Crown Vic is indeed a large vehicle.

One thing I don't like about the Driver SF model from those pictures is the windows though, they're more accurate to a real car.

Of course, you can tint windows in the vehicle files, but nobody actually does that upon release.

Nearly all the skins I make are for BXBugs' models

My favourite is his Tacoma Police CVPI, Hate the light bar but just love the model.

I like the Driver SF model, It looks much more polished than Shaft's, in comparison. I just don't like the low-poly interior. But yeah, most of my textures are mapped to Shaft's too.
