Hey guys.

I've got a question and a little poll for you.

I'm sure you've noticed so far there are a few models of Ford Crown Victoria to GTA4.

One of the most popular is CVPI created by Bxbugs123, the other one is created by DSF ( I'm not sure, sometimes I see Cj24 or someone else ).

Which one do you prefer?

I must admit the huge adventage of Bxbugs123`s model is the fact there are many skins but DSF model seems to be bigger and made better.

What do you think?

Do you know which model was created earlier?

BxBug's was way before the Driver SF Model.

I've always loved BxBugs Crown Vic and hated the DSF Vic. But It's vice versa now, I don't know why!   :teehee:  The DSF CVPI looks more like a Crown Vic than BxBugs.

I tried switching over to use DSF vehicle, I tried it for a little bit and just couldn't stand it. Most of the models were low poly, first time modelers, just unlike the professional models we see from Bugs.

However, times have changed since then and perhaps if I switched now I could find a lot more nicer DSF models.

I'll stick to Bugs for now though.

Personally, I like the dsf model. It's less polys, scaled more correctly, and I've always get rc20s with bxbugs. However, I think bxbug's cvpi is better until more people start using the hq interior for the dsf model

So, for those who prefer DSF model. Check Spitfire7's cars. If you write 'El Segundo' in searching, you'll see his cars.

My heart will always and forever be with Bxbugs/Schaefft's Crown Vic.  I "grew" up with it, since I was playing LCPDFR before the DSF model came into being.  I am warming up to the DSF/Cj24 CVPI now, since they are much higher quality than before, but my loyalty is with the Bxbugs/Schaefft CVPI.

I like DSF vic better, or should I really say, Bugs' DSF vic. He worked extensively on the model. It's low poly but still has great detail.

But it's more high poly :P

I prefer the D:SF model because it's scaled properly, it's lower poly and I never get any RC20's with it.

I try and keep my mods as low poly as possible because IMO lower poly cars cause less errors :P

Correct. That's why I like it more. My GTX 660, which really isn't that much of a high level card, can run all custom police car models, an ENB, and a few script mods and of course LCPDFR

But I understand, Driver SF CVPI is definitely better for those with a under performing system.

The first few Driver San Francisco models were garbage and I hated them. It wasn't until people such as Cj24 took the model and overhauled the shit out of it when I started liking them. The DSF models are way more accurate to the real world vehicle and are a lot less high poly. Not even Bxbugs123 himself uses the Schaefft model anymore, that's saying something.

I also have a 660 and I can run a 5-6MB car but I make my cars for friends I play with and some of them have a shit system so that's my point.
