I personally love older games that never seem to get any recognition or remakes/sequels, so I'm asking anyone: If you could bring back any game series for a remake or sequel, what would it be?

 

Mine would be;

 

• a sequel to Medievil/ Medievil 2- I had a lot of fun with these back in the PS1 era, with its Tim Burton-styled worlds and cartoony gameplay.
• a sequel or remake of The Getaway:Black Monday- This was basically a British GTA, which was actually quite good but didn't sell well.
• a remake of War of the Monsters- the best Godzilla game that never was, A remake could be a downloadable VS arcade game.
• a new Timesplitters game- Timesplitters 2 and 3 were shining examples of multiplayer FPS that was a novel new concept at the time.
• HD remakes of Bully and The Warriors, which I think were 2 of the most original and well-made games that Rockstar have made.
• A HD remake of 007: From Russia With Love, still the best James Bond game ever made in my opinion.

I know it may just be nostalgia for older games talking, but i feel these games would be really great if they were given a HD upgrade or complete remake to give them to a new audience. Show older games some love, people!

Well i'm probably gonna get grilled for this, but i would choose modern warfare as one of them. Cod nowadays is all about the future.

 

I would love a HD remake of Metal gear solid 1 and 2

 

Also the same for gta 3 (though a bigger map wouldn't hurt too)

 

And probably some others i don't remember :p

 

Hidden and Dangeous series ... HD 2 was possibly the greatest WWII game ever for me.

 

And new Vice City :D Vice City Rage is nice but lacks missions ...

I would love to see Saints Row (1) on pc, with all the same bugs and glitches. That's an amazing game, its sequels are shit compared to the original.

Also would love to see Crackdown (1) on pc as well, good game if no one has played it.

I would love to see the True Crime series (LA or NY) come to current gen or next gen. I would also like to see Saint's Row come out with another game that's more like the first one.

Probably the older CoDs, because they were so good and then the new ones... :( (I still like MP a bit on Black Ops II, but not the story line).

 

Red Dead Redemption on PC...the old NFS games...

 

 

Ico, Tales of Symphonia and Legend of Dragoon....those games to this day are still amazing.

Mercenaries. That was a dope game. One of my favorites. The second ones sucked really bad.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing a really good Driver game. I loved Driver 1 and 2. 3 was okay, and 4 was trash. I thought DSF was okay.

I haven't played Saints Row 1, but is SR2 really shit compared to it? I mean, SR2 is an absolutely fantastic game, and from what I've heard of Saints Row 1, it's much more of a GTA-esque game, with a lot less of the ridiculousness that characterizes the Saints Row series (SR3 is, I agree, not good; SR4 is basically a different thing entirely with some of the same characters).

In my opinion, of course I'd say Saints Row 2 is bad compared to the original.

In my view, the first Saints Row was a much more focused game that actually worked pretty well compared to the sequels. It had a much more grounded story, a more detailed city (multiple gang hideouts, stores, other interiors like airports etc. that the sequels just couldn't recapture.

The Getaway & The Getaway:Black Monday. I really loved those game and spent so many hours on those games. Plus this are the only games I know that take place in the UK with a GTA style gameplay. I would really love to see a sequel for next-gen consoles with a much larger scale of London.

The old Burnouts form Xbox...that and Brute force. I think I clock around 100+ hours playing that before my Xbox crapped out

I would love to see another Getaway, black monday was great because you were a cop and had the cars. I would really like to see an open world game in the UK even GTA  i could see why it didnt sell so well but i heard there were plans for another sequel but it was cancelled. 

 

I love true crime NY! Even with all the bugs that game was ahead of its time because of the street crimes and taser and the fact that you could add lights and a push bar to virtually every car. They should make another sequel but just make it less buggy. 

 

I also think that the first saints row was the best the second one was decent but it just got worse from there. 

 

The first crackdown was great i never played the sequel because its an xbox exclusive but i heard there is another one coming out.

Brute force was an awesome game!
