Nope nope nope nope nope....... nope. Even looking at that still reminds me of the horror of the 1st & only time I dared watch that video. Now every time i  see that still the horrible, horrible

  • It's sad and sick to see, but even sadder and sicker to know that this is caused by our governments lack of care for our veterans.

Even for a short film, that was rather disturbing to watch.

I've got two things to say about this.. horrific video;

  • From what we've seen, that officer definitely didn't deserve to be shot down like that. You can't drive down the road like maniac, then think that it's the officer's fault for pulling you over. I also feel like the officer should have shot a bit sooner. Once I saw that weapon and realized that he wasn't going to comply and drop it, I would have shot. Regardless of future consequences. No consequence is worse then losing my life. Then the man decides to say that he's a Vietnam combat veteran, as if that excuses the fact that he was recklessly flying down the road. Just because you're a military veteran, doesn't mean that you're above the law.
  • On a separate and off topic note, this type of atmosphere would make for an amazing Police simulator. The graphics, gameplay mechanics, etc.

That was very moving and powerful, yet brilliant to watch. This kind of style for a full-length movie would be fantastic.

RIP to Kyle Dinkheller.

I watched this in the academy, very tragic situation but he allowed him to control the situation and he never should of let him get back into that truck. For those of you that aspire to be or are currently in Law Enforcement its a powerful lesson that you never know what is going to happen and officer safety should be your number one priority. Because no matter what your going home everyday.

That was horrific. He was only 22 with a wife and a baby and another one coming. He had his whole god damn life ahead of him cut short by a dumbass man. I'm glad the dirtbag who killed him is facing death. He deserves it. I hope they make it long, and painful.

R.I.P Officer.

EDIT: I'm not too sure if the murderer was executed back then or not.

Terrible what was done to him. Kinda off topic, anyone else notice how the shift went from drive to park without him touching, or am I the only one?

Oh my god!

And those comments on YouTube... I thought I read "FAKE" all over the place but what I found there is almost as disturbing as the real footage itself. *shakes head in despair*

The real footage ... R.I.P :/

I hate you, I hate you, I hate you... was really hoping the original dashcam footage wouldn't surface on the thread, but I knew it would, and I knew I'd watch it. One of the most horrific videos I've ever seen and I never not watch it when I come across it.

Yup, watched this in training too. Try that today, and as soon as you even begin to raise that gun, your ass is grass. R.I.P.- End of Watch- 1/12/98.

wow.......im shaking that was sooo sad. Hearing him scream in pain and take his last breaths about made me about vomit. I am usually against censoring but mods this might not be appropriate esp given the younger people on this thread.

I've already seen the "real" version and it's scary I have to say, and it should also be a wake up call to anyone including myself whom is looking to pursue a career in law enforcement. Such scary and horrible things like these could happen anytime, and before you apply to a PD (or Sheriff's Office/Dept.) make sure to think through your decision wisely.

I just have to ask, is this animated or recorded/filmed with real actors? It was such a great mini-movie, but still, it's not about something great what-so-ever.

R.I.P Kyle Dinkheller, only 22. It's a shame that this is what happened to him.

The comments on the YouTube vid make me so mad. They are saying "The cop took the first shot, he deserved to die!" OMG, REALLY. The cop was defending himself! And this comment makes me really mad, "OFFICER FIRED FIRST EVERYTHING THE VET DID WWAS SELF DEFENCE I HOPE THE COURT UNDERSTOOD THAT!" Not self defense at all! The cop would not have shot at all if he didn't pull out the gun. So if these guys get pulled over, are they gonna pull out a gun and kill the cop, and say in court, that it was self defense, I hope not. I just wish things like this never happened. One thing the cop should have done though. is call for backup right when he saw that guy flying on that road.

The real footage ... R.I.P :/

Nope nope nope nope nope....... nope.

Even looking at that still reminds me of the horror of the 1st & only time I dared watch that video. Now every time i  see that still the horrible, horrible screaming runs thru my ears.

If anyone is going to watch that video, I suggest you DO NOT scroll down to the comments section, under any circumstances. Seriously.  It's filled full of cop haters & ignorant idiots. Bascially all the people that are wrong in this world.

I dont know if this animation is exactly how it happened, but even when the gun wasnt aiming at him, he should of shot the fuck  out of him. Watching this gave me goosebumps, I feel so sorry for him, his wife, and kid. RIP To this brave warrior, even though Im pretty sure this happened a long time ago.
