How about New Orleans, well honestly Id like to see it based in the south ha could yall imagine a delta gta, farm land and levees? Ha what! How about the swamps? I know its stupid but there has been alot of attention in those areas GTA V touched on it

Carcer City is put into various GTA games as a reference to past R* games. It is not part of the GTA canon in the way you are describing. 

Yes, its references, but it also proves that Carcer is real in the GTA Universes.

GTA V is in LA (LS) and the surrounding countryside...If they were to use the same map again right away, it wouldn't be GTA VI, probably just DLC like EFLC or something similar to Liberty and Vice City Stories.

If it were Canada, I have a feeling Toronto/ Ontario area would be the choice since it's the biggest in Canada other than the Iqaluit, but there is nothing there lol

I honestly think they would go with Vancouver, Vancouver Island and even maybe Seattle. 

 

It would be awesome. Big Cities, Water, mountains and rural towns. Everything GTA needs.

Grand Theft Auto IV: Australia

The main character would be a drugged up bogan who drinks a carton of beer while hooning in his VN Commodore. 

Hell YES! Australia needs some love from R*. Sydney and it's surrounds would be great. What with Kings Cross and all.....

I don't watch the news much any more but I'm pretty sure the bikies/motorcycle gangs play a huge part in the crime rates in that end of the country. The story could be similar to that of GTA IV:TLAD but focus more on the dispute between clubs. And take things like our very strict gun laws into concideration.

 

A game like this, with the detail of the "next gen" GTA V and just by being in Australia could make the company a massive fortune.

 

Imagine speeding down the highway in the outback and having a kangaroo jump out in front of you at the last second....you cant get more realistic than that haha

False! I have Intel within R* and my sources CONFIRM that GTA LIBERTY CITY EPISODE STORIES will be the new GTA using old RAGE technology and the old LC map with a few enhanced features! My Intel would like to remain anonymous and I am telling the truth right now because my mom and uncle and dad and brother all work at R* video games productions and Disney!

if i had to guess, i bet the next one will be over seas, London, Paris etc .......

I think they'll stay within the continental United States, most likely another West Coast city. It's just the style of the game.

I would totally dig Las Vegas. It's right up the game's theme of modern sex, drugs, and violence in a deteriorating city. Also, Area 51 isn't that far off there on the Nevada Test Site. I could see a Florida city too. 

Yep, maybe another "Area 69" Easter egg in Las Venturas (not the city, the desert)? I really would like to see LV in the HD universe, the lights, the casino's, the drugs and alcohol :P

I personally would like to see it set in Vice city again. I'm unsure about the time period, but it would be interesting to see Rockstar expand the map like they did with the modern version of San Andreas. Put in the Everglades, a Naval Station, and definately some islands like the Keys that we can explore only by boat. They should include another county north of the city that serves as kind of the small resedential area of Florida. It would be very interesting to see!

I don't think you meant it to be offensive (maybe), but DAMN was that offensive ( 'least I'm taking it that way currently).

 

I never said my source worked with R*, I said from the industry, meaning he could be anyone from working with a company previously  to  someone who just knows a few people.

Anyway, I don't think I'm going to post any other info now, guess I'll just keep it to myself, maybe tell some of my close friends. Should've listened to my brain when it said to keep it to myself for now :/

yea they have repeated cities. liberty city was in GTA 3 and IV...

 

anyway i think if they did city similar to Chicago or Pittsburgh, that would be pretty cool and would something different.
