I prefer PD stuff but there's no way I won't be using this.

I know you already made the hydralic cutters, but based on the sounds, ever consider making an electric Combi tool? Two tools in one, spreads and cuts, and matches the sound. Plus you don't have the awkward hydraulic hose tail sticking out.

Question about the cones, will they work like Police Helper and have people avoid them, or will the traffic just crash through them?

 

Also, this looks to be coming along really nicely, great work.

This is just stunning! LCPD:FR and Fire Fighter Mod is just a great combo. I suggest make it compatible with LCPD:FR new API

A couple of common callout ideas-

"man down- unknown emergency". This could be a seizure, syncopal episode, heart problem, anything.

"rubbish fire- trash fire". Just a small contained fire, usually found in dumpsters or around apartments or businesses.

"Fuel spill - Hazmat situation" - Most common at vehicle accidents or gas stations, fuel spills that require special attention.

"Jumper in the water-suicide" and "Building Jumper- Suicide" - bridge, highway or building current jumper or successful jumper. 

 

Can't wait to see how this mod shapes up!

The FireFighter mod is a standalone mod, which do not require the LCPDFR API to be played with, however, both mods are compatible and can be run at the same time.

Some of the callouts you've listed have already been made, the others might come into future versions.

I've always wanted to see interesting situations in LCPDFR that involves the fire services and how the police can assist.(without having to install multiple scripts, trainers to get something to work)

 

So going the other way,  my question is will you have scenarios that you can call in the PD or involve them?

 

I think it will be great for variety and spice things up.   Something as simple as calling in PD to assist in traffic control(just a simple roadblock,  as i know your focus is on fire rescue features).  

 

Or something bigger,  like a crime scene.  The police would already be at the scene of a shooting/robbery.  You would be called in to check on the injured.

 

I think the police elements can be static at the scene.(i am taking into consideration that it is a lot of work. And it may be easier for you to script them to stand around only rather than anything complex.)  The player giving medical aid is the main purpose of course.  But the extra bit with police units would be visually amazing to drive into a major crime/accident scene.
