"Unit requesting a roadblock"

A vehicle pursuit is in progress, and a pursuing unit requested a roadblock. Should you accept the callout, you will be shown the normal pursuit in progress stuff, but you are directed to go to a blip. The suspect should be made follow a certain path until it passes the roadblock, as to ensure you're not sitting in a road for no reason. So, instead of chasing the suspect, you have to park your cruiser in a marker, and those who like detail can place police barriers with PoliceHelper or other mods. When you park in the marker, a radio message should tell you whether to shoot at the suspect or not. There should also already be other units at the roadblock. Not sure how possible this is, but I thought it was cool

  • Not sure about your second problem but for the pedestrian struck, before you interrogate you have to actually aim and lock onto the person you want to interrogate.

It seems that some lines in Wounters Callouts must be edited because something is wrong there.

I hope to take a look at it this weekend, it should not take that long to fix, I think.

Also, I just uploaded the new version of the plugin (still has to be approved). I recompiled it, so it should now work with LCPDFR 1.0c. There is also one new callout: cardiac arrest.

Hi there,
I'd like to report something that was kind of a stupid coincidence. I got a callout for a suspicious parked vehicle. I found it, called the bomb squad and then a hooker came along and tried to steal that very same vehicle. :laugh:
The result was that LCPDFR had shut down your plugin due to an error.
So I suggest you lock all car doors with your next update.

First off,

 

Let me say that out of all the API plugin mods I believe this one to have the most potential.  I like that you have kept a lot of the calls realistic.  I do not use the other callout mods because large scale shootous and prisoner escort missions are just not common in real life and I strive to modify my game towards realism.  Having said that, it is clear that you have a great grasp on coding.  Therefore, I have listed some callout suggestions that are in line with common types of calls that police face.

 

- Neighbor dispute (this could occur in a building or outside on the street.  When you arrive they could be fighting or just arguing and you can use a command key to disperse both parties after interviewing).

 

- Shoplifting (This could also be done in a couple ways).  A lot of times security will call the police before the suspect leaves the store so you could set it so when the call starts there is a countdown to when the suspect exits the store.  If police get there before then they can pounce when he/she exits and if they take too long it becomes about BOLOing for the vehicle or suspects on foot.

 

-Suspicious occupied vehicle - Right now you have the suspicious vehicle where the bomb squad i called out.  In reality these incidents are few and far between.  I actually disable this call right now because I like realism.  However, what I would like to see is a call for a suspicious vehicle where you can pull in and pull over the vehicle and talk to the occupants with an increased chance there will be drugs or a wanted person.  This is a far more frequent type of call in real life.

 

- Suspicious person - This can come in a variety of ways.  Whether it be loitering or someone walking around looking through the windows of a house, there could be multiple call types where someone is just doing something generally suspicious and the officer is called to investigate.

 

- Wanted person - A call where someone has called 911 to report a wanted person and you have to go apprehend the individual.

 

- Agg batt/Murder - I would like to see some sort of a homicide call and I know you are working on it and stability issues.  

 

- Variety of calls where reports need to be taken.  I can't stress enough how many police calls are delayed thefts, delayed burglaries, etc.  Therefore you can have these incidents where all the officer does is respond and talk to the victim to take notes for a report.

 

- Report system: not a call specifically but the ability to type a report after responding to an incident or having an arrest.  This could be done by hot keying a button while sitting in your car where the officer takes several seconds of in game time to type a report.

I recently started having problems with this script.  I have 1.0C and only get random crashes when I have this mod installed.  Let me say that this is my favorite script mod out of all the ones out there and these callouts are way better than the LCPDFR callouts.  I sincerely hope that oekelwm looks into rethinking the 1.0C compatibility to make it more stable as I am a huge fan of this script!

Hello!

Im LOVING your callouts mod, but i have one issue. Each time i get to one of the added callouts, that specific mod gets shut down due to an error. I have no idea why its doing this, but it seems like when the crime is comitted, or when you get close enough, it crashes and goes down. Any help would be greatly appreciated, because to be fair i agree with McGillicuddyAP, this is one of the better API mods i've seen! :)

 

(For getting a better look at the specific error, i have only pasted this specific error below. If you need more of the log, go right ahead and tell me! This error seems to appear at all of the added callouts)

The script is good but only when it works. For example, it always crashes on traffic accident & burglar alarm.

So I got the Sucide Callout last night and I wasn't sure if I needed to press something to help him or what but when I called EMS or the Coroner to come down the Coroner never made it to the scene and when EMS came they drove to the scene one of them got out and the driver drove off crazy. So basically the person died and I don't know if the behavior of the EMS or the Coroner is because of the script or something else.
