That's weird, I will look into this issue.

This problem is due to GTA IV's memory being full (tend to happen more with a lot of modded vehicles) and it can't spawn the peds. I tried to implement a fix for the next release that will hopefully make this occur less often.

 

Not sure if you're taking suggestions for callouts, but one could be a trespasser on private property, let's say airport, or trucking yard or even a dockyard. The witness would be a security guard ped, and you'd have to go after the trespasser.

Sure, suggestions are more than welcome. This one is actually already on my list. I hope to be adding it in a future release.

  • Not sure about your second problem but for the pedestrian struck, before you interrogate you have to actually aim and lock onto the person you want to interrogate.

Great mod so far but I have a question about the fuel thief: Is he still around as long as the pink area is shown? If not then I suggest you remove the pink area. I searched every street and backyard in that area but I couldn't find him. Maybe I just didn't look right or he was away already. How can I know as long as there isn't any indication?

I've never managed to find the suspect in an indecent exposure callout. Are they obvious in any ways? Can we question anyone to get a better idea of where they are?

You need to drive around the area and find someone matching the description. Then when you see someone that matches it, normally they have marker above their head. It's hard to see at times though.

He knows that. He's saying even if he looks around, he cannot find the suspect.

I thought this one was broken too.  Couldn't find the thief many times but yesterday i searched the zone and finally passed him and a marker popped up on a vehicle.  Text said "He spotted you" and I started pursuit and caught him.  It works well,  sometimes you just miss finding him and he gets away. Just like real life.  Great mod, I like it.

Actually, the circle currently stays the same size, even if the thief goes further away. I have fixed this for the upcoming release. Now the circle will grow while the thief gets further away.

This release will probably be somewhere in the next two weeks or so.

To build on the fuel theft call. It would be awesome if they didn't run every time (or at least they always run from me). In my opinion it would be better if there was some kind of chance of stop VS run like with the car stops. I don't know how hard that is to do just a suggestion.

 

I'd like to see protests/riots implemented though, BUT because I have no knowledge of scripting/coding I'm more or less throwing around a wish list.

Also, when I have this activated I seem to get only Wouter's callouts and not the original game callouts.  Anybody know why?

 

You should still get shootouts, drug deals and muggings from lcpdfr  And the homeless trouble call.

Ok, good news, I just uploaded the new version of WoutersCallouts. It is now up for approval by lcpdfr staff.

Three new callouts in this version:

  • Securicar robbery
  • Civilian attacked in building
  • Suicide attempt

I also fixed a lot of bugs and did some tweaks on the callouts already in the plugin.

Thank you for still keeping up the good work on this mod! I think LCPDFR would be boring without this and other callout plugins! Is there a possibility of you making bank robbery callout like in the mission "Three Leaf Clover" where there are highly armed (M4 Rifle) with bulletproof armor, and they are escaping the cops on foot until they get a vehicle? 

Could you also make massive shoot-outs like in 0.95 rc2? where there are already spawned police cops and cars (Noose Patriot, Stockade would be cool) at the scene, then to be more challenging, could you make the enemies in large numbers and have rifles and submachine guns with bulletproof vest?

A bank robbery with multiple heavily armed suspects could be fun indeed. I have added it to my to-do list.

A larger shoot out with cops already on the scene sounds interesting as well, I will try and see if I can implement it in the future.
